I still don't really understand. If you shell a psi-ball, you basically put psi around the ball, so that the shell dissipates first and then the ball. But whatever amount of psi and programming you use on the shell you could just as well use on the ball it self. Just making the psi-ball out of one compnent with more energy and more programming, instead of making it out of different parts... You can of course still shell if it's easier to visualise, but the way I visualise my psi makes it hard to make a shell. I do get my psi-balls strongest with this visualisation though. The shelling I'm talking about, is the one where you make a really dense layer of psi around the ball that keeps the psi form leaking out. Yes, but then the shell will leak first and then the ball will still leak. Unless ofcourse you program the shell to sustain itself, but you could just as well put the energy of the shell into the ball itself and then have the ball sustain itself, in which you would have the same effect as when you'd shell.

My psiballs are usually terminated by me. I don't think I've ever made the shell leak. I think it has something to do with my visualization. I just visualize a hard compact unbreakable layer of psi.
