Seeing my psi ball?

I heard that you have to open your third eye to see psi energy. I sort of know what the third eye is, but how can I open it? Do I need to in order to see my psi ball?

Also, if I doubt the existence and possibilities of psi balls and all, will that inhibit me? It always seems I cannot summon nearly as much energy when I doubt.

*sigh* I can't tell you how frustrating it is to fail with my psi. If I could just get a grip on it, I could learn really quickly. Sometimes seeing is believing, you know?

Trust me, I know how you feel. Just about a month ago I thought I was unable to do anything.

Doubting you can do something will make you unable to do it. Just calm your mind, clear all your thoughts, and do not doubt yourself.

Exactely, psi works with a lower level of consciousness. and with not believing, You will block it from succeeding. Anyway third eye opening you can do by per example fill your finger with energy put it between your eyes (without touching) and think of the energy in your finger opening the space between the eyes. Also you can just gaze at an object and wait. And you also got flaring, in which you program the ball to lighten up and become visible (see flaring links) but this is more advanced. And i read that if you make your ball very strong, it can be seen with the naked eye.

Thanks Vornakos. I'm going to keep trying, and hopefully I will succeed in making one tonight. As for for the third eye, I think I'll try to open that when I can actually see my psi ball.

on the subject of the third eye, i've been feeling this pressure alongside my temples (is that the name? the soft spots on the side of the eyes) going through my forehead. like an arc. Like something was pressuring me. Can this be psi-related?

By the way, no one ever told me if I have to open my third eye to see a psiball. I'm assuming I don't, right?

you can see the light distortions where the psiball is, if it is strong.

You don't have to open your third eye to see your psi ball(I can see mine just with my eyes closed, as if I was looking at the sun with my eyes closed and it leaves spots in my vision).

Sometimes if you look at them with your eyes open, the area it occupies is hard to look at, as if something is in the way.

Strong psiballs distort light, until you make them strong enough to flare them. I think it makes it a bit darker if you flare weakly(not sure, can light nullify light if it's coming from 2 different sources?)

Make the strongest psiball you can with enough light to see by and look where it's at. If it's strong enough, it'll look like a heat mirage, where everything past it waves side to side and up and down.

If you flare it, it does emit light(if you do it fast, it gets bright but doesn't last long. If you do it slowly it's dim and long-lasting, until you get a lot stronger).

Mind you, getting a psiball to flare is a lot harder than just making it strong enough to bend light.

From what I know, a few of my constructs are flared in black/dark colors, and many of them show heatwaves. I am unable to do work near myself though, for serveral reasons. I have a large amount of interference when working near myself due to my shields, and when sensing energy near myself, my shields blind me.

I think I get what your saying pakars. Vorkakos, I didn't get your post so much with the shields and all. I'll get all that when I actually try shielding.

There has got to be a way to make a psiball visible to normal sight. *Sigh* I have got to accomplish that.

Basicly, when you put a large amount of energy into something, you start to get heatwaves, and if you put enough in, it will eventualy flare in a color that goes along with the type of energy you are using. I believe you can flare with less energy if you are actualy trying to flare though.

This is going on knowledge of other people, as I cannot sense near large amounts of energy, and my shields are at the point that I cannot sense or create anything near them.

Hope this is a bit easier to understand.
