If you were to make a cold psiball, doesn't that actually mean that you are reducing the energy, not increasing it? But, where does this heat go? Does it disperse somewhere else, possibly meaning cryokinesis and pyrokinesis are exactly the same?(call the terms fluff all you want, they are only that, terms for ease of use). Can energy be destroyed? They say it can't be created, so if that is true, I doubt the opposite is possible.

The first element I learned to work with was ice, so I should know ... no, you can't actually create an ice ball. However, when I gather psi energy and form it into a psiball, I often imagine the energy as an icestorm or snowstorm that I compact into a sphere of psi. Whoever told you about an "ice ball", maybe what they meant is visualizing the energy they put into their psiball as ice.

But technically wouldn't you be able to make an ice ball by making a psi ball cold enough and merely gather the water from the air into it?

you have to realize how little water is in the air, if you wanted something the size a goldball you might a football arena WITH a couple humidifiers. you arent even taking into account the subtle manipulation it takes to get psi that cold, requires more practice than pk.

Its really just a cold psi ball and a fire ball is just a hot psi ball, but I think it is possible to make a ice ball if you can freeze water then you can freeze the air around you since it all ready has h2o in it

Shariadarow, the heat could go from the psiball/object into the air.
Edwardbear159, I don't mean to sound rude, so please don't be offended if this sounds mean, but starting with ice hardly makes you an expert. I've never made a real ball of ice before, but who are we to say it's not possible? It's one of the more realistic possibilities.
Dumplins, you are wrong. An ice ball is a ball of ice. A fire ball is a ball of fire. Cold and hot psiballs are cold and hot psiballs. There is a MAJOR difference.

Well I agree with Ness here, and I must say that making an ice ball is possible if you have access to water. My brother practices with cryokinesis, and last time he measured with a thermometer, he could reduce the air temperature in his room to about 38 degrees fahrenheit (and that's WITH a heat lamp for his lizard's cage constantly on, and the fact that his room is the hottest in the house).

Thanks a lot. If your brother doesn't mind, ask him to make a nice video or something. I'd love to see a credible cryokinesis video. All I've ever seen is where the guy stirs the water and it freezes, but I have doubts about that one.

Lol I've seen that video, the one where it comes out an ice cube? Come on the ice wasn't even in the shape of the cup.
I think its possible to make an iceball but it would be VERY hard. Not anything most psions would beable to acomplish in this lifetime. You might beable to cool the temerature of water though. Don't know if you could freeze it.
