I think I've gotten to the point where I can make psi balls with only one hand, but they're not very stable. All I can use them so far is absorbing into my hand to strengthen my blows. I've accidentally done quite a bit of damage to my walls with them (nothing a tube of caulk and some home tools can't fix).

Try creating them with no hands. You may find it a bit of a challenge, but it will help you get over your block.

No hands sounds like an interesting challenge, I may try that myself And about your one handed psiballs not being very stable? I've never tried it myself but logic dictates that cupping your hand as best you can would help encourage the energy into a more stable spherical shape, thus making it easier to make psiballs with one hand. You probably already do this, though, it seems the natural thing to do

You will get so you can do them either way..by physically cupping hands or by just using visualization, which comes in handy.
For me, and I can't speak for anyone else, I have noticed no difference in stability or with shaping them to serve the purpose they are intended for by using visualization, in fact, this is generally what I have learned to do over the years.

Okay, here's what I do now. Since I've been forming at least 2-3 constructs, or at least some simple psiballs, every day since I first learned how, I've gotten pretty good at forming them now. So I can be sitting in a half-lotus on my meditation mat and form a psiball over my navel almost immediately with a bit of concentration. I can do the same thing while laying in bed, and the psiball just sort of forms somewhere around my stomach.
My theory is, the whole thing with psi-balls being more stable when you use your hands is just another trick played by your subconscious mind. It assumes that the psi-ball is a physical object, and so that it must naturally be more stable with two hands, and less stable with just one hand or no hands. All you need to do is practice affirmation more or less constantly for a few weeks, just repeating over and over to yourself, "Psiballs are not physical objects. It does not matter if I hold them with two hands, one hand, or even no hands, because they will remain stable no matter what." (It may help if you do this affirmation while you're meditating, for maximum effect.)
This should help you in forming psiballs with one or no hands. Enjoy!

Well i've gotten so good at the point where i can make weak psiballs instantley. And with little concentration can make a pretty strong one handed psiball. My advise is just keep trying OH i just made a no handed psiball woohoo.

I suggest that all of you try making orbs of energy outside of your own reach without attempting to use your hands. This will tend to shatter the mental block that you have created that tells you it is not possible to work at a distance. After all, if you can work ten feet away from yourself, why not miles away?
I keep seeing too many people with potential stuck because they truly believe they can only form an orb of energy in between their hands.

Yes, but it is easier to use your hands since they act as outlets for your energy. The reason they become unstable for me is not because I think they're physical objects, but rather because my energy flow is rather erratic and because I don't have an even flow from both hands to balance it. I suppose that what you're talking about is possible, and probably easier to do when you have more energy too, but I haven't gotten that far yet. I rarely have time to practice as it is because of my busy life. I have 6 college classes, my family, my fiance, and my friends to attend to. Plus, my parents don't necessarily support me spiritually as it is. My mom believes in it, but she has the wrong ideas about it, and my dad is a complete skeptic.

I would like to say that was really cool, but there was nothing there. If you were trying to make your psi ball visible which is called flaring, you will have to work more for that.

I thought I saw blue sparks, but I may just be seeing things. Lol, never can tell. That's why I don't think I've made a psiball yet.

I can't do one-handed psiballs. I tried but I failed....badly. I sobbed.....then bawled my eyes out.
