Hello people, I was just wondering does anyone here have other Psions in the family or have close friends who are Psions?
Did you inspire them to learn Psionics, or they inspired you?
Or is your whole family a Psion family for generations?

My whole family on my mother's side for generations. Druids, Wiccans, Shamans, many things related to psi, many things not related, but basically, it seems to me that a good part of my ability comes from my family.

Well, considering I do not remember being anyone else I have nothing to compare it with.

I would think that it is though, as I have been around it without knowing so for quite a while. I never even knew some of the things I was doing were not normal, and often times did things without knowing it. Many people around me told me I had a calming aura about me, and that was before I learned how to create/change it at will.

I do alot of research and some of it are questions need to be answered by a Psionic Community so I appreciate your input and I get what your saying about the auras and everything.

Since I was a kid people felt Fear or Threatened when around me.
That is why Psionics always intrest me, because I basiclly need to be in a crowd of people and the Fear I was giving off wasnt helping. Now though all my enemys, well the people who feared me are my friends.

Yea my Granddad was a Remote Viewer and Astral projector and stuff. I never really got a chance to talk with him about it because he had a brain tumor and lost almost all his memory, he also can't store any more memory, so theres not much chance of talking with him about it.

My Mum belives in many "supernatural" events but I don't think she's ever heard of psi.

My mothers side were gypsies and imigrated to america when my grandmother was young. My grandmother has told me stories of her premonitions, so has my mom actually.

Interesting to see how many people here may report similar things running in families...

Everyone in my immediate family (apart from my dad,as far as I know)-have some Psi abilities-clairvoyance,clairaudience,strong intuition,empathy skills,healing skills,visions & connecting to the dead.
My mums father is one of her spirit guardians & she often sees him,sitting on the end of her bed at night.Mum has many spirits/entities in her house, which can sometimes make for some interesting happennings...when I was younger & after moving back into her house,we had some poltergeist activity for a while-which was a bit freaky.Clocks flying off walls.Ornaments moving around by themselves.A door fixture completely mangled & broken once,by unseen forces.Strange sounds.Cold spots.Strange unexplained smells.Losing time- etc.

I regularly feel something which sometimes either strokes my hair,face,shoulders or arms & has even hugged me on occasions & this happens at times when I am in need of comfort generally-so I figure it is one of my spirit guardians.My sister has similar occurances.Also,smelling things-like fresh cut flowers or a distinct smell of a particular perfume or awful smells,with no explanation as to where it came from.

When I got married, we had a small wedding/reception in our home & backyard & we had the ghost of our next door neighbour come to the wedding(& not really invited either!)-(his mum was there & he had just suicided 2 weeks earlier)-anyway,she spoke about him alot that day & night while she was there -photos were taken all during the day & night of all the guests etc & we managed to get a photo of him,standing behind his stepdad-although no one actually saw him at all at the time.You can see him quite clearly in the photo,you can see through him,but some features are very distinguishable.So,we had a ghost at our wedding reception!This photo was taken on the old film type cameras(before digital) & it cannot be explained by a fault ( not double exposure etc)

My son(& daughter,to a lesser extent so far) seem to be showing signs of telepathy,very strong empathy skills,astral projecting & past lives(some interesting conversations there!!!)-my son has told me on many occasions about how,when I was little & he was my dad & he used to give me baths & wash my hair & stuff....all without any prompting at all-I just let him talk.

I have seen my spirit guides on a few occasion only recently & they responded to my thoughts also.The first time it happened -I was finding it hard to beleive,so I asked them to move in certain ways & do things to prove to me ,that what I was seeing,was really happening-& they did.I ask them to show themselves to me now & then & they generally comply!

I don`t know if seeing things like this ,is classed as working with Psi
-but I guess its seeing & feeling energy & interracting with it still isn`t it?

Anyway, the more I think about it, the more I can remember.Things like, thinking of someone out of the blue(someone I don`t see often) & I will more than likely see them or hear from them that day.

I saw a vision of my sister`s baby that she just miscarried, at the exact time that she miscarried-a bit disturbing,but also comforting at the same time.Proved to me that life goes on after death.

My brother located his deceased cat, after it was missing for a week, because he could hear it meowing.He followed the sound & then found the cat dead.A bit freaky,some of this stuff-but shows me by my experiences & others in my family,that life goes on after death...

Also,some premonitions in dreams & visions or hearing or thinking things,before they happen.I think I am starting to vaguely see energy/auraus around living things lately.

Have been having conversations recently (mostly with my husband ) about specific things that have not happened yet,but the possibility thereof-but shortly after having these conversations, these things have happenned.
eg- I was talking to my husband about tsunamis & if there was an undersea earthquake off the east coast of Australia,that the whole of the east coast would/could be in danger.Had that conversation a few weeks ago- & yesterday, for the first time in record keeping history(for weather events)- the whole of the east coast of Australia , was under tsunami warning.All the beaches up & down the entire coast were closed with some evacuations,as there was a danger of a possible tsunami occurring...
Things like this- precognition I suppose...

Anyway- just realised that this is turning into an epic & a half-so I better stop right there !!!

Just wanted to add- that if you are interested in taking part in a PSI experiment online-its run by www.mind-energy.net & they are up to taking volunteers for their 2nd PSI experiment.Its pretty basic though...
Monash University have also recently been conducting online Psi experiments but I can`t find the link right now...will post link when I find it. ;D

There is a connection, but only connection is that those who have someone (for ex. father) doing psi can begin earlier with practice and have more chance in making succes, and they wil have less blockades beacose they know that their family is doing tis. And maybe a bloodline, but it only gives more chance in making progress, it doesen't mean anything-there is alot of people who don't have anybody in family who even knows what is psi.

As Im alone in my family when it comes to Psi.
I always think I was adopted anyway lol, I look completley different, size, traits, even my skin is different then my parents.

I strongly suspect my father has unknown telepathy, but I don't know if my grandparents had any abilities.

Yea, I suspect most parents will probbaly have a knack or talent for somthing but just may be unknown or hidden.

The great question here is whether the propensity for psychic phenomena is really something that has to do with bloodlines or if - in fact - it is merely the human mind itself and has nothing to do with bloodlines or lineage in the least. While I do believe that everyone on this planet is, to one degree or another, quite capable of psychic phenomena, I think that there are some bloodlines that are more predisposed towards it than others. My family comes from deep Celtic roots and I am, in fact, part of the clans that one point or another ruled Scotland or Ireland. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't have a little Faerie in me somewhere *chuckles*. But I do know that both my parents are very disposed towards psychic phenomena and are both quite powerful, even if they aren't quite fully aware of it. I won't go into detail because that would require revealing more about myself than I am yet comfortable doing here.

But regardless of my family in particular - I am quite sure that everyone on this earth has the possibility and propensity to be psychic. Though I would say that they may be weak in some cases, or simply unknown in many. But at the same time, people are unconsciously psychic all the time - there are few people out there that can say that they haven't had the phone ring and haven't - at one time or another - known who it was before they picked up. Or a mother instinctively knowing her child is in trouble, though the child might be miles away or there could be no other way of knowing. Every day phenomena that most take for granted and don't really consider.
