I hate to re-open a "closed" thread, but I always like to give my opinion when a forum is launched.

My family is pseudo-religious as in, they believe in god, but dont do much about that. Still, they know, as anyone should, that what the bible preaches (is it spelled like that?) is good will and nice deeds, so you only gain by knowing about christianity.

Still, anything out of reality is for the mentally disturbed.

So, i'm making quite a statement in this family if i get anywhere in psionics. I'm pratically telling them "put me in a sanitarium" lol...

But oh well.. Lets see how open they are... They might be more intelligent than i believe them to be.

Yeah, in most boards, a thread isn't really dead until about a month has passed... or it's at the last page/bottom of the list. And if it's closed... you can't post in it.. >_>

My family... is... well.... meh.
My mom is kinda a heavy christan(thinks that because she believes it, that it's true and everyone around her has to belive as she does as well)(i.e. she'd probably go wack if I told her I'm studying psionics).

My dad is christan... but doesn't do much but believe. He says that we should use our own minds and think for ourselves(Probably because he's the top program problem fixing person at where he works and he's really friggin smart).

And about anyone in my family having done psi-related things... Not likely... if at all.

Actually my mother was told she was a powerful psychic right after I was born by a skilled fortune teller.
Frankly I believe this & think she has tele/empathic abilities.
My grandmother on her side also has a gift for making herbal cures.
Also that same 'teller said I would be "important" in the future.
Unsettling.

Well, my father can sense spirits and when he tells the disruptive ones to go away he obeys them.
All the descendants of my 3xgreat grandfather on my mothers side generate a particular type of energy but I seem to be the only one who uses it

I think my dad is psychic but doesn't notice or believe it. (he tought me once how to make my whole body warmer in cold weather). And, my Dad actually got his brain checked and it turns out he has a very rare brain condition (the good kind of condition) that allows him to look at things differently. Like, he can look at a doodle of a building and imagine a 360 exact view of what it would look like. (He past his skill to me and Astral Projection is now my 3rd psychic skill). Psi Ball, Telekenesis, Astral Projection, Healing, (at the moment I'm learning scanning)

The get warm in the cold trick can just be restrictions of blood and burning of unnessary things to create heat but it could also be generation of warm psi.
