Is anyone having troubles with insomnia?? How manny of you can not sleep at night?? Here at my state is 4:10am right now and I just don't know what to do with myself and i'm going crazy without sleep... It's like i'm trully awaken when sun goes down. And I HAVE to go to coledge in the morning, but it's not easy to leave nice and cozy bed when so darn tired. This problem was always here but it is increasing since using psi. I tryed to stay awake and go to sleep next evening but after a few days it would come back. Tryed meditations but it only gave me more boost. I even had brutal treining (me and friend who was 'sparing' partner had bruises and wounds from techniques we did) I was dead tired, and it was strong effort needed even to stand/walk but still couldn't sleep (And was not able to change position in the bed, thats how tired and in pain I was). Please if anyone else has same problem, or sollution for it, post it here just to see statistics and various sollutions for this.
thnx

This may sound patronizing, but i don't mean it to be that way. The best thing for you to do is see a doctor, psi can't cure everything. If it could I'd be making billions in curing aids and such.

The main problem is when you start with sleeping pills you have to continue using them. And I really hate pills and needles of any kind. There has to be the way to bypass that.

Try to read a bok in bright light on your back and with the book in the air until your eyes start to itch and your arms are to tired to hold up the book, it worked for my insomnia when I fell in love

well you said it increased since you started using psi. so mabey you should ease of the psi for a while. i mean no psi for about a week, except for drawing psi to give you more energy.
you can also try APing when you lie down and try to sleep. so that would be kind of a win win situation, either you fall asleep, or you leave your body (thats if you cant ap yet).
our brains let out a chemical when we are in very dim light (cant remember what its called). this chemical induces sleep. some people have to be in the dark longer than others before this chemical is let out, so mabey your brain dosnt give off any till realy late or early depending on how you look at it. so try drakening your room and going to bed alot ealier than you used to. oh yeah, you should probably see a doctor. and ask him/her about this chemical. theres a pill that lets your brain give of the chemical quicker

I am more awake at night; but I have always been like this, years before I had first heard of psi. I can offer no tips, but I know how you feel.

Yes, the sleeping pill... But NO MEDICS... I really hate pills... And being in a dark or dimmed place just wakes me up, i feel more alive when there is less light... And that chemical is not really working on me- when I was in hospital nurse gave me a pill (few times, every time different) and it didn't worked... But I was feeling reeeeeeeeaallllyyyy relaxed ;D Anything else? Anybody else with same problem???

Like I said, I am always more active at night, but I am not sure if it is Insomnia or not, I have just never really been tired during the night. I am nocturnal basically, but I have to wake up during the day to go to school.

I've had sleep problems for a long time but I just meditate before I go to bed now and it works great.

Zbuksi, I also recommend Meditation before sleeping to help you.
I recommended this to several people, each one had success.

Hi zbuksi, I also have a huge insomnia, I like you, do not like pills, I only take pills for my migrain, and really hate them, anyway, I've tried somethings like having a better diet, but it didn't worked, I also started doing much more excercise and nothing, so far the only thing that has helped me sleep a bit more is alcohol, not much though, I'm not an alcoholic or something, just before you sleep drink a little glass of the liquor of your choice, and then try sleeping, if that doesn't work, then try going to bed with a full stomach, some people say its bad but it has helped me so far. Another thing that helps me is leaving the tv on, the sound makes me sleep sometimes. If nothing of this things work for you then try some other alternative medicine, I never liked alternative methods but one time a friend of mine gave me some herb made escent that really relaxed me enough to sleep well. Hope it works!!

Hmm... thank you, snowind, it will probably be good for concentration, but for insomnia-- not. Meditation makes me more aware of myself and everything around me and it keeps me awake. I'll try to variate meditation, maybe it will work.
Infact i will post my conversation with JK here with metods that helps me most times::
JediKaren: breathe slowly until you are relaxed close your eyes and imagine the surface of an ocean with no land insight - now put a inflatible raft on top of the water, watch it slowly float and bob in the small, calming waves - now have your own body lay on the raft, all muscles relaxed - feel the sun, the soft breeze, and that ocean smell - that should help you calm down and relax enough to sleep Zbuksi: well.... i tryed something similar and it made me even more full of energy... - JediKaren: what did you try? - zbuksi: i tryed this... - no one. laying on the bad, relaxed. Breathing slow and deep. Imagine the dark room filled with good vibrations (positive energy). The slow music is playing and everything is comfortable... Then i slowly imagine to go asleep in that visualisation and it sometimes work. JK: don't image energy..in fact that's the way I teach people to feel energy' Zbuksi: No2. Making my breath shalow and fast. Visualising to run and wasting energy, i'm feeling realy tired... Than i visualize the bad and me on it layed down in a relaxed position... Feeling tired, drained... Then i make my breathing slow and deep... Imagine everything blury and lights dimmer... I fall asleep (than repeating the part how i go asleep) and it actually helps sometimes.
-I hope this will help someone, it helps me sometimes.
EDIT: I succeeded!!!! I found a way to sleep!!! - I just go like i want to AP -as i get cought in sleepy faze i dont try to stay awake, i just let myself go, and it was a problem at first but it is all good now.
