Hi JediKaren- I can tell you that from my experiences-meditating has helped a great deal-to get in touch with your subconscious.By this I mean that during meditation & by practising being in awareness for extended periods also ,can lead to seeing, understanding things as they really are. By being in states of awareness-seems to be the way (well, for me, anyway)- to link the conscious mind to the unconscious mind.Finding out information that would have otherwise not been available to you. Also- by trying to see through thought & beleif paradigm(set by society),seems to open you up to more experiences. Sometimes-I will practise this by simply looking up to the sky & expecting to see unexpected things.Things that should not /could not be there in our perceived paradigms.Don`t know if that really makes sense much, but this is what is starting to work for me... Just being open to the unexpected. Not ruling out things, just because thats what other people might tell you thats the way it is... Lola

I've been through the psipog articles, but I always like to back my articles up with more than one source. I also like to find out what the public knows and feels about the subject. I've posted this on other sites and here are some some questions I've been trying to answer:
ok um, this is hard, seeing how I'm still looking up information: How do we talk to our subconscious? Does, and how, our subconscious effect out abilities with psi? I've read a lot about the subconscious (and correct me if I get this wrong) seems to be mostly responible for our dream content. Is that true and if so, how does that work? I know if you ask yourself, by thinking, to wake up at a certain time without a alarm clock, usually you will wake up at that time. Is that our subconscious doing that? How does that work? What is the difference between doing something unconsciously and doing something subconsciously?

I talked to my subconcious by using a very advanced technique I made up. I make a very dense shelled construct with a telepathic link to me. Then with about a half an hour of meditation I move my subconcious mnd into the construct. This enables me to speak freely with it.
I only know one other person who was able to do this.

I do not know how to talk/communicate with sub-conscious, but I do know of a little trick. I can make a few minutes of rest work like a few hours of sleep. If you can clear your mind while listening to a calming song, try to convince your mind that each heartbeat is a minute passing by, if you do it correctly, a few minutes of rest will be as refreshing as a few hours of sleep.

Is that our subconscious doing that? How does that work? What is the difference between doing something unconsciously and doing something subconsciously? I guess most people talk to their subconscious through purely asking and trancing while waiting for an answer. When a person gets better they can distinguish thoughts, kind of like telepathy. The only difference is that it is internal. As far as psi and and the subconscious, most sites say that it is either required or helps out a lot. I have learned just about every skill with out even knowing about my sub-c and how it works. But when I tried to see the future, the sub-c increased my chance significantly. Other then that I saw no effects to asking it for help when practicing TK. Now that I think about it, it's role in psi seems to be minimal at most. But I guess if I was programing a psiball it would be different. When you asked about hoe the sub-c and dreams are related, I would have posted some excerpts from a few textbooks I read on dreams, but I don't have them or remember their names. It's been scientifically proven that the brain plays back things in memory that it has seen throughout the day. For me, some of they things serve as messages on what not to do. Others were suggestions on what I should have done. And then there was stuff that was there just for the heck of it. But scientist say, there is no real reason, psychologically or physiologically, that we dream. psych.ucsc.edu/dreams/^This link provides some good info and links to other scientific sites. "I know if you ask yourself, by thinking, to wake up at a certain time without a alarm clock, usually you will wake up at that time. Is that our subconscious doing that? How does that work?" Good luck trying to figure that out. Just be glad it really works. Though, from experience, I figured that. The more tired I was when I went to bed the night before, the less of a chance I had of getting up at that time. In that case though, tired meant not getting enough sleep to the point that I got physically sick from lack of sleep. Also, I notice that if I'm exited about the next day then I'll get up at the right time. "What is the difference between doing something unconsciously and doing something subconsciously?" That's a real good question. I almost forgot about this book that I bought a few years ago that was really good and dealt with the sub-c. Sorry I can't find it on line. www.amazon.com/Blink-Power-Thinking-Without/dp/0316172324Anyways, the book is about thinking that goes on in literally, a second or so. He talks about how the brain uses the unconscious to quickly interpret whats going on in a small amount of time to make the best decision necessary. He has a lot of scientific data to back it up. Other then that I suggest you go out and google it and hope for the best. I tried with little success. Hope that helps!!!
