Not weird, I'm just more aware of energy, and some things that I have seen here, and since other people aren't aware of it... Well it's more difficult to relate to other people now... At least for me...
So it's not weird just different

Power corrupts and Psi is Power, this question really depends on the user of the psi. Hitler, Osama Bin-Laden, Saddam Hussien, and Stalin all examples of people who gained power and abused it. Is it likely that a Psion could kill Millions people of one religion or take down town enormous structures highly doubtful. But a Psion who is persuasive can do this by claiming to be some sort of god. So yes if the person is already Malicious and Violent in the first place the may gain anywhere from a bloated ego to being a meglomaniac to having a god complex.
On the other hand people who are naturally understanding of people's emotions would likely head the opposite way. Telepathy and Empathy would literally allow you to be a person and event the thought of hurting "yourself" may be enough to make you sick or incapacitate you.
I would say no to it changing your personality it would just make it stronger.
