I was watching Star Wars: Empire strikes back, today and I was on this site when Yoda said "Size matters not, Judge me by my size do you, hmmm?" and I thought about all the videos I saw with a Psi Wheel and the heavist thing I saw a person lift was a pocket knife.
So I just wanted to post if maybe we lose the concept of size temporarily in our minds while using Psi that we can lift things larger than just a pencil or and empty soda. I just want to see some other peoples opinions on this, becuase I was thinking of conducting an experiment about size and Tk.

While this may be true, it's a mental block that even Luke struggle with. It's the same reason that when you put a glass bowl over the psi wheel, most people can't move it, despite the fact they have moved the wheel before.

Yeah I knew luke had trouble with it....I guess thats maybe why Jedi were selected at birth.. So if Psions had sons or daughters and trained them from birth we could have the ultimate Psions...Interesting. I just noticed that.....

*slaps head and shakes it sadly*
Ok people....as much as I love, no make that hopelessly addicticed to Star Wars, let's stick to psi. That means please get off the star wars topic befor you fully suck me into talking about the movies and argueing fine points that would loose most of you in less than thirty seconds.
As for training a psion from birth, it's not so easy. First off, we're training kids when we aren't fully trained ourselves. Second, who are we to force our kids to learn all about this? From what I've seen in parents teaching their kids psi, most parents will guide and give support, but not teach them so much. Generally the kid is allowed to come to psi on his or her own terms when they become interested.

they would find it more attractive if they actually saw us do it. cause which kid dosnt wish he had super powers?
they would be stronger if they were doing if from birth. like the aboriginals (thoes native austrailians) are able to do telepathy easy, cause they been doing it all thier lives and never forgot the skill.
id train my kids. first id talk to tham as babies with telepathy so that they always use it, then introduce them to otherstuff.
but dont want to get of topick. with psi, everything wieighs the same. its just how we percieve them. so we should be able to throw trucks with little ease when we get over that mental block

Luke Skywalker may not have started training from birth with his students but he taught and he was not all that experinced...anyway. Lol, well I didnt mean you SHOULD be throwing trucks, or cars Im just thinking about that mental block.....the only problem with training your kids from birth with Tk, one might cross to "The dark side" as one might say. That would be bad.

But is it only a mental block? it seems to me it is harder to manipulate a bigger mass of energy anyway.

It's the concept you've learned.
I personally think kids should be grown (18 at least) before learning about psi. You need to make sure the kid comes out clean. Psi is a very dangerous weapon...

Well I'm not saying kids should be taught that there is nothing. I think their immagination should be stimulated. But control over this... i dunno.. but a lot of you are young.. so...

well skill comes in also people cant move the wheel under glass beacause they already believe it will be harder but if you cant move the pin wheel good in the first place then the size thing does matter because you have no skill!
