Hi there, I'm Yvette from Illinois, you.S.A. I'm an artist who draws and paints. I also study computer science (I know, weird combination of interests!). I love to read about the sciences, especially having to do with electronics and particle physics.
I stumbled upon this site while idly surfing the Internet. I found it interesting because I cannot find any other explanation for my being able to feel a lot of magnetic energy between my hands instantly with little or no effort. It feels sort of like putting two magnets of the same polarity near each other and feeling them push each other away.
I can make this feeling stronger by "willing" energy down my arms and filling my hands with it. If I spend a long enough time doing it, it can bring on feelings of actual pain (pins and needles) in my hands. One time, my hands kept hurting for an hour afterward! Another time, when I was in a pitch-dark room, a tiny laser-red spark resulted and scared me half to death. I wasn't able to make it happen again.
I can make the magnetic feeling twice as strong by facing my palms against a computer or T.V. screen and "sucking in" the energy (by the way, I wouldn't make a habit of doing this all the time ). Music also can make it somewhat stronger, but it has to have some sort of emotional effect on me to make a difference.
I can sometimes "will" thoughts into other people's minds. My mom and I once played a game where you think about something hard and try to put it into your friend's mind. When I'm trying my hardest, I can almost feel a physical "pushing forward" in my head. She gasped when I said she was thinking of a small black dog and it was right. However, my sensing skills are rather dull and I don't pick up the thoughts of others or play "guess which card has the picture" games well. In other words, I'm a sender, not a receiver.
