The colors come naturally for me. I don't think forcing them would do much. You can't really force your aura to appear.

They should come naturally, if you force them you force your mind to think about colors, and your mind creates a color not the real one. So don't force it, just let it happen.

I sometimes don't see colors until I close my eyes, but I can usually see some color in a outline around my whole body, but I focus on my skin areas so I don't get clothing auras.
The reason to look into brow chakra is that your vision is damaged naturally by just using them. You use mostly your peripheral vision because it is stronger... A lot of excersises are made to increase the strength of your vision.

I've been able to view auras for a very long time. However, I've never actually looked for color(s). As I view an aura, you might imagine it similar to the way the air ripples over the road on a hot day. Seeing auras came naturally, but I've never directly associated color with emotion. Its too arbitrary in my opinion, the color you see would be your mental interpretation of their mood tinting the aura in your eyes, or a subconscious projection of their own. Too many people interpret color differently... So why should there be a set color for each emotion? Rhetorical question, you don't need to answer it unless you've got a good one.
I was first able to 'see' auras at about 8, though I never understood what I was seeing and thought nothing of it (so it was rather useless at the time). From there, I developed empathy, which first clued me into psi. What I learned about auras and empathy act as the cornerstones of my current knowledge.

I first became interested in learning more about auras when I saw my dad's. I got in trouble ( so like me ) and he was given me the lecture, and I just stared at him... Then I started seeing a green glow around his entire body, and when it faded I tried to see it again and I managed to catch another glimpse of it.

green aura? that's cool, not many, he must be a person with good connections to the nature or a natural healer. But sometimes green comes when a person is at ease.

He definently wasn't at ease. ( I was getting a lecture for getting in trouble )

I think the meaning of the Aura's Colors is different between people. So if Green could mean intune with nature or at peace to some people, but different to others.

i think that the aura colours are set and you can tell alot about the person from the colours they have, so if 2 people are feeling the same emotion the will ahve the same colour. i dont thinkit has anything to do with how you percieve it. but then again, i cant see auras so i dont have much say in this

I am only just an amateur at aura vision but so far, the colors seem to be fixed. I'm open to suggestion though.

The question I pose to you, is why exactly should a color be set to a certain trait or emotion? One person may believe yellow to refer to sickness, or another person to believe green to represent the same trait. So if a person had a yellow aura.. Is it representing sickness? Or something else? There is an entire spectrum of wavelengths invisible to the naked eye-- aura vision or otherwise.
I might concede that a person's emotions would resonate, in a sense, and affect these waves, resulting in a tint or color, however, no one has yet to provide another viable response. Instead of exploring or trying to understand it, you simply say it just is. =)
I'd like to encourage people to think and work through some things on their own, instead of simply accepting something as fact. Develop your own opinions and support them with factual information instead of trusting to an arbitrary this=that system.

i cant answer this, as i dont know what an aura looks like (i have an idea, but ive never seen one for myself). but i heard that little children are able to see auras, iv asked my cousins but they dont see anything. butif you could find some children that are able to do this, then have them look at the same people and write down the colours thay see, this might give some interesting results

Younger people see auras better because their vision has not been worn away from use like older people's have. I would have to say the are able to use more direct seeing than peripheral vision to see it.

So different people might be able to capt different colors, and Auras are open to a lot of suggestion, I've seen reds that are naturally violent, and reds that are really calmed but they are very passionate about everything so that's why they are red. Is really just about interpretation.

I think i can see auras but it is weird where i see them. I can only see them on peoples hair and it is a thin line, in the back of the head it normally is bluish purple and in the front of the head in a bright red/orange and yellow.
