I'm not sure if I should put this under shields or scanning so ill put it here.  Well, throughout my Psionic Journey, I've been doing some more advanced techniques like trying to make things like strong strong shields. However I don't even know if I've made even the simplest of shields. Like I have tried to do a bubble shield and just figured i did the steps it should be there.  But now I am starting to worry, Can someone scan me and tell me if I even have a bubble shield up? Thanks ~Psychopathic |

All i see is a very thin blueish shield. But i am no expert at scanning. I cant tell what type of shield this is but the one i see is quite weak. Keep practicing  You will get better |

I don't really think you have to be "advanced" to do anything, but sometimes it helps to do a lot more things. People will argue with this, so, right now you do have a shield up. I'm not the best at scanning either, so, I would suggest you try to make a very strong and complex shield. Have it feed of other energy than your own, because if you told it to feed off of your energy alone, it would leave you drained.

Heres a technique I use to sense psi around me. Get comfy and just "feel" the air around you, make yourself open to all the energies around you. After a few minutes of doing this you should feel the shield around you. See if it works for you, it works for me  |

Yes. Shields don't just "stay" there, and get stronger. The require alot of attention. I usually check on my shield and add more energy if needed every 2-6 hours. Also, before I go to bed, I add more energy to it. It gets energy from other sources also, but, it's something I like to do.

Yes shields do require maintenence. But I suppose the more familiar you become with everything the easier it all gets.

Yes, because you get into the habit of checking your shield, making sure everything is working, ect.

My shields get stronger. I just program them to gether their own energy. I only need to check them after combat.

I know. My shield is very strong now. It just gets stronger by itself now. I think it's because the energy i give to it.

What techniques do you use to make your shields gather energy? You just program it to absorb energy. Tell it to absorb energy, or just visualize psi being sucked into the shield by a big vacuum or a black hole or something. |
