clairaudience - hearing skill. ahh
so clairaudience is like focusing on the sound is it?
If I was to gather psi around my ears to amplify the sound how could I visualise this? Like I can visualise it surrounding my ears but then how would I make it amplify sound?

Have you heard of RV? It feels like RV, but without seeing you are hearing. (This is from a third party opinion. I can't actually do RV or clairaudience.)

what i do is visualize a blob of psi at my ear.
and you know how in some rock videos how they make the scene vibrate/pulsate when they do some part of the beat? i visualize the blob doing that when sound hits it.
so mabey i associate rock with that, and i listen to rock loud, then the sound should come out loud
