Geometric shields

I like to make shields that are shaped like geodesic spheres. Like a dodecahedron, or an icosahedron. I am not good enough to try it but if you were good at shielding you could make each face of the sphere a different kind of shield, and have it spin. It is just a thought.

Wow did you do that as a shield? that is kind of hard for me to visualize as a shield.

Actually, I made ones quite a bit more complex, but they don't work as well as the simpler ones, so I just went back to orbs.

Was quite interesting at the time though.

Mine was quite a bit more complex, 6D rather than 4D, but not very effective compared to a simple orb shape. Personally, I would stick to a plain old orb.

Was a fun challenge though.

What were the other 2 dimentions? I thought there was only 4, but maybe past and present?

I do not know names for them, but think of it this way - 0D is a point, 1D is a line, 2D is a square, 3D is a cube, 4D is a Tesseract, 5D is a Penteract, 6D is a Hexeract. There is a pretty decent picture of it however, so you may want to look at this chart. This is using a cube-base form, though there are also spherical versions.

I do not suggest using these as main shields, as they seemed weaker than a simple orb did. If you just want to kill some time, and possibly brain cells, they make quite fun diversions. Also tend to give you a headache rather quick.

I don't like shields that complex. But I do like my geodesic shields. They just feel right to me.

I saw someone playing Halo 3 and the shields you can throw are geodesic too. I just thought it was funny. LOL.

Whatever works for you is always better than anything anyone else tells you to do. If something feels right, use it.

Shielding is something new to me, until I recently felt under pyschic attack from some evil people I come in contact with daily. Two of them practice Voodoo by the way --in the negative way.

I also felt something try to "blast" away the energy field around my head when I was at a Psychic Expo convention a few weeks ago.

After speaking with two clairyvoyant women, I discovered that there were warlocks and other's who practice satanism that were hanging around incognito trying to mess with some of the psychics and other folk at the Expo. The one palm reader told me she needed to have someone do some energy healing on her that previous night because she got "buzzed" in her hand by one of these dudes.

I'm not familiar with what she meant by being "Buzzed" but I do think it was something similar to what I felt attack the energy field around my head. Maybe one of you guys can tell me more about that?


Anyways, when I headed to the Expo table where a Crystal healer friend of mine was selling healing crystals, I asked his wife about shielding techniques.

She told me of how to do a certain technique mentally that sounds an awful lot like what you describe, zedd!


She mentioned to visualize yourself surrounded by a metallic (or Hematite coated) sphere surrounding your entire body and energy field. Then to imagine this sphere spin around your body in a clock-wise direction.

Then also imagine that this sphere has razor like blades that immediately cut off any energetic cords that anyone tries to bind you with to suck energy out of you.


She said that a friend of hers who did this actually was able to see the dark cords slice off of her body.

She said that this is very protective when you are in an area with energy vampires or people, or entities with bad intentions--seeking to harm your energy field.

The crystal healer wife told me it does take up a certain amount of personal energy to keep focusing this rotating sphere, so you must not totally depend on this alone at all times. You must get proper rest when you can, so that you can maintain the energy level to keep doing this if you are in an environment where you are constantly under attack.


All very interesting concepts that i would never have imagined ever existed when I was younger. If I had known these these things when I was younger, in school, I would have been valuable info for me to use!

That is a really cool idea for a shield. If you are having trouble maintaining enough energy try programing it to draw energy from an outside source. I really like the blades idea.

I think using "invisiblity" is better than shielding.
