I like J-POP and J-ROCK along with some rap and are&B from before 2002 along with Funk, Old rock, and that's about it I want name specific songs because I don't really have a favorite.

Some JPop is ok... but I only listen to it when I'm in Japan though lol XD
Um, yesh I listen to classical music (because I play viola and violin since I was this tall *sticks hand to ground*)
Apart from that, I like jazz as well... I suppose I like everything apart from rap and heavy metal and other music like that...
I suppose the *modern* artists that I like are (in no particular order)
Mika
The Veronicas
BEP
Kelly Clarkson
Kate Daraguo (or something like that, can't spell her last name lol)
Scissor sisters (or at least I like 'I don't feel like Dancing')
Beyonce
etc etc etc.

My favorite music is jrock and jpop, alternative( not the kind like sum 41 more like Zebrahead or Red Jumpsuit Apparatus) and Breaking Benjamin is my all time fav!! My favorite song by them is "Blow Me Away" written for Halo 2 link: youtube.com/watch?v=9bVMiWPB9Wo&mode=related&search= I also like Rise Against. A good band and their songs have deep meanings. My fav song from them is "Behind Closed Doors" link: youtube.com/watch?v=Jm5AMwooqSYI don't like all Jrock and Jpop just so you know. Mostly L'arc~en~Ciel and Asian Kung-Fu Generation. With a little Gackt. and that's about it. |

I did put down Nirvana.... but some bands that I missed that I listen to alot are the White Stripes, The Vines, The Raconteurs and another one that I forget now. I'll spend a little time later on linking to some songs but I'll do that later  |

i pretty much discriminate agianst old rock like acdc,the beattles,pink floyd ,stuff like that because to me they simply suck.

I'm mainly a rock guy. I like Jazz too (listen to 95.5 kyot in arizona quite a bit).
My primary favorite is Rush, which is obvious in the artist corner thread I made about the cd cover. Got ever album of these guys too.
Brandon: You have no taste in music if you HATE the old rock. Remember, they shaped the way certain music is today. Sorry to burst your bubble.

i like punk and indie rock (indie rock has nothing to do with indians, an indie rock band is Billy Talent, look them up).
