I figure psi vamps are just an excuse to play pretend. After all, what does it matter if psi is sucked from people or from a tree? If you loose all the psi in your body you don't die, you might feel a little lightheaded if it happened all at once but I doubt anyone would suffer more then that.

Becomes unconscious from lack of oxygen XD Sorry if I seem a little angry, but I see no difference between psi vamps, zombies, lycans, and other such kin as realistic. It reminds me of people who still believe that god talks to them and what not. What I mean is, psi is different from all the other oddball things out there, after all there is actually [you]some [/you]science to prove what's going on. I've seen many video on people doing TK and generly having a good deal of proof. But when I go to sites for other kin, people don't post picture, or vids because of hunters. It's kind of an excuse if you ask me. If you are proud of something you do and you want to show the world you mean buisness then there would be some pics or vids. There's just not a lot of logic in that. And yes, I know that posting some like this one a site that has roots in psionics is probably not the best place to have a conversation like this. But I just can't help be skeptic at all I see, and try to reason everything out before blindly excepting it. |

I've spent about 4 hours researching sites, looking for pics, and articles on how to p shift. As well as more info on lycan. I found no pics (not even the fabaled hunters had pics). Sites were a lot better then most psionic site I have been to, just a little smaller. Articles said: relax and focus on being a wolf and eventualy it will happen. And the good ol' pray to god and he will make it happen.
On top of that almost all (I'd say 80%) of the sites webmasters are ex-military/navy/airforce men. Why is that? That doesn't make any sense why those demographics are so previlent.
Just about everything BUT P-Shift, I find believable. Everything else seems very logical.

well yea but after psi vamping you usually feel drained. not just psi-wise but emotionally and sometimes even physically. specially if that person is your friend because usually they can be depressing and generally draining people.
psi vamping isn't even a problem to most because shielding it doesn't require much practice.
thats just my input ;D i'm not saying anything to start anything.

Although I am not "otherkin" I wouldn't put up my pic if I was. If you have exmilitary people trying to hunt you down and capture you, I can understand why you wouldn't want to give them your picture.
A simple solution to this, would be to email/pm the people you trust with a picture of yourself attached.

People are still afraid of people who can hack and stuff.
On one forum they have said " If most of the Hunters are military or exmilitary then they could be able to get into are systems and get out emails"

you realize that anyone with some time can track you down, find your name, last name, middle name, age, where you live, where you've been living, what you do, what sites you go to, and so on? Anyone can do this. And yet I don't see this keeping you off the internet.
The whole thing is blow way out of proportion. Come on. Light up. There so much much more realistic horror stuff you could do and have been doing. Like getting in a car is far more dangerous than being a psi vamp.

that is very true. psi vamps are pretty harmless. they are easly shielded because most do it unintentionally. there are more important things to worry about.
