Somehow someone must have gotten the same access as the founder/creator, then took it over, deadmin'd him, and then banned him. That's what I'm guessing.

I know the entire story.
TKForums was adopted with a website named "Psinoobs". The owner, fyrehart, ran both (as owner). A guy named "ALL" brought TKForums to the level it was at and hosted it himself. ALL's father found out about it and made ALL stop from all psionic activity. Fyrehart and ALL decided to take down the website. It came back up when Psi-Links and TKForums were going to merge (and psinoobs is now down). Fyrehart (aka drexhex aka takeoffeveryzig) was admin at Psi-Links and soon backstabbed us (Im not going to get in to it).
Unless ALL is running it and Fyrehart gets deadmined, I suggest it stays dead.
I also know the whole story about psinoobs and why that died, but that is a story for another day.

ALL is running it! he is rarely there anymore though. he said if i repopulated the site he would promotd me to admin. and i dunno bout Fyrehart but i read from his threads and( i was wrong he wasnt banned and he was and still is a mod) learned much from him. he also isnt there anymore. they both are busy in college. i have made it my biggest task to repopulate tkforums as a favor to my friend ALL as he has taught me. if anyone is intrested in helping me ill call ALL about it to see if he'll give you mod power.

I gave up my modship on Psi Links and was demodded the evil Rahie, the unrightful owner of Astral Society, so no thank you. I'm still mod at TEL and that's enough. I also take care of Psi Links when Apollo is getting into trouble and has to run.

its on its last leg and i think its hardly appropriate to say it should stay that way. and just because one person screwed you over doesnt mean the site should be killed. thats why that person was asked to leave the site. dont give the site a bad name for one person who isnt there anymore. so please lets drop that subject. if people wanna visit then your more than welcome and i thank you for doing so.

I dunno...there are too many sites out there and maybe it's best that the site dies and something else gets started. If you start a new one, you also start a new history and a new reputation.

You need to get your facts straight before you post. You cannot ask the owner to leave. It was the [you]owner[/you] that screwed me over. He is still there and he has NOT been asked to leave because it is HIS forums. |
