Maybe it's just me, but to me the question doesn't really match the subject of the thread. Maybe you could clarify what you mean?

(It could simply be that we have different belief systems regarding this matter)

I believe abilities strong in a families bloodline can be passed down in genes, i also believe every human has all abilities- theyve just gotta open them up, attune to them, i think the ones passed down through blood will probably be stronger- more easy activated, the person may be a natural.

I agree with firesea... As I, inheritated some of my mother's psi genes... I don't consider this a skill of mine but, sometimes I have precognition. (Excuse my poor grammar, if any)

Apparently my mother, grandmother and grandfather ( on my mothers side) are all pyschics- unfortuntely i dont seem to have inherited any skills ( or im just not a natural at anything- but im not complianing yet, im still kinda pleased im supposedly half angel) but my brother is an extremly strong natural telepath.

Ok, but think about this:

There was a theory that if you chop off your hand, your offspring will have only one hand. This is what you are saying. I agree that everyone has these abilities, but is it true that it strengthens your genes as you use them? With your parents using psi, if you are around it and learn it when you are little, you pick up on it sub-conciously and so it is easier for you. Think about it. Does using (or not using) psychic abilities make it easier to do it because of genetics? Does chopping off your hand make your offspring have no hand (already proven wrong)?

hmm i see what you mean- but i didnt say they would have the abilities- only that you would probably be stronger in certain abilities- (and it would probably only appear in a long family line of pyschics.)

I will not vote, but I'll say this... firesea has a point. In my family, the ability(ies) that everyone has as their 'main' ability deals with time sensing (ie. remote viewing, pre-cognition, retro-cognition; clairvoyance). That is what you see in my family.

But the point that firesea made also implies that the offspring will have similar abilities as the parents with the exception of a few. My parents do not have any psycho-kinetic abilties, yet my siblings and I do (give or take my only sister). I would have to say that some psionic traits are genetic, some are not.

My younger sister and I seem to be the only people in my family who can use any psychic ability.

There are infinite possibilities. There could be a red head, a blonde, a brunette, and an albino all from two blonde parents.
