I don't like it because you don't need meditation, with a mature and trained mind you don't need meditation. Plus, it's hella boring.

To Karen first off this is why when one can wait one can see the vaule of it. Second to Aiden WRONGO!!!!! Even with a mature and trained mind does not mean you can slack in meditation. In fact meditation is perfect for reflection of the day, for calming anger, and even for one on abilities! It is only boring if you FEEL it is boring!!! If one can truely see the vaule and the great plus meditation gives then one knows how it truely is. I cograt lonewolf on seeing what myself and others see in it!

I concur with the above post. Meditation is fantastic and I use it most days (I wish I had the time to use it more). Sometimes training your mind is meditation because you are going within yourself in the process. Yet sometimes it is just a matter of letting go and experiencing the universe directly.

Yeah well... Hmm, Karen... You talked about my not being here enough. And I've made the decision, (Which I was planning to do already, but "Female_Jedi_Master" and her incessant disagreeing with me, (in WHATEVER I say) pushed me over the edge) that I'm leaving. So, bye everyone..

Hey Aiden I'm quite new here so I don't really know anyone except Karen, but in general there is no need to worry about other people's opinions. I can understand being sensitive to what other people write (I am like that too), but no-one should push you to leave a website because of something like that. I'm sure she was just stating a strongly asserted opinion. It's not about seeing something rightly or wrongly. We all see things differently. This is just a truth of life that is not exclusive to any one forum, but happens to be a part of everyday thinking.

Look, people. This wasn't just because of her. Me and Karen had a small meeting of sorts long before this post. It was time for me to leave.
EDIT: Also, stop with the "Everyone has their opinions". Just so you know, most peoples opinions are generally almost identical to their family and peers opinions, just thought I'd say that. (THAT'S my opinion)

*sighs* I really wish you wouldn't but well you are busy with your site. Well thanks for your time here. Ok people I'm locking this in 24 hours. I think this is too sore a subject.

I am sorry if I offended anyone but I have been taught the vaule of meditation without it I dobut I would have the focus to do things like listen to the Force(PSI) when it speaks to me.... it opens ones mind and clears things. I sorry if I disgreed with you Adien but I am 21 and have been at this for pretty much most of my life. I leave my mind open to things seen has we are here on this earth to learn and not to meation I hate first impressions I change my mind everyday about people inless they keep showing me the same thing. Yet if you wish to leave I shall respect that and may your life show you joy and may you do well in all you do.

meditation is a great way to relax your mind. you'd be surprised what you can learn about yourself if you just take the time out to meditate.

IMO... Anybody who doesn't take meditation seriously doesn't take anything elce metaphysically based seriously. To them, its a fad. I realize that that's pretty harsh, but the only older people I have ever met that practice psionics or magick have meditated. The others drop out. The practical and spiritrual benefits of REAL meditation far outweigh the benefits of telekinesis or clairvoyance. But I'm gona stop there, cause I don't wana preach.
