Theirs not really much of a difference beteween anime and normal shows and movies, Anime is drawn. And movies and shows have actors. Personally it takes more work to draw something than have a buch of people play a part.

Well I don't like the anime drawing style... because the proportions are off and that kills it for me... I prefer western drawing, but that's me. I used to like Anime like DBZ and other shows, but I don't like it anymore, I prefer regular series like Heroes, Prison Break, Supernatural, House MD, that kind of stuff. I know there are good animes out there but I just don't like it anymore...

But if we were discussing comics then I would be all about them

I like most Anime shows eg: Naruto, Bleach & One Piece.

I think that everyone has watched at least one episode of anime. If not, you must be lying :-P But, not everyone likes anime.

I'd say I hate anime overall but certain anime I watch has a specific meaning. And no, lots of people who create anime or the ideas for anime will not say psi is fluff right in the face. Like some who really get into creating and living Avatar. Sure they may not believe in telepathy, remote viewing, etc. but they may be more open to spirit guides, and definatley martial arts and moving chi throughout the body. On the negative side, anime gives some of the ancient practices such as Qi (Chi), a bad name, like the fluff filled anime Narato.

Added my vote. ;D My favorite anime of all time would have to be Vampire Princess Miyu. The tv set was awesome, however the OVA's are quite interesting as well. The story is cool and the characters are the source of all awesomeness. (<3 Larva)

Anyone looking for a good series should check it out.

I used to go nuts over the stuff, but now it's more like meh. Except for Air, Kino no Tabi, and a few hentai I like for the artwork. And I have a mild obsession with .hack for some odd reason.
