Just wondering what we have been told by the people around us.
I was personally told that I was doing the devils work by two family members, that happened about eight months ago, and I haven't mentioned psi since.

No, they just said, "Whatever" and didn't really care much. But there was few who did want to learn.

I never told anyone and I don't plan on doing it soon.. but when I was new to this and had a discussion about the possibility of telepathy and such my mother told me, "Yeah yeah. Do not ever pray to the devil to give you powers" and such with the 'yeah yeah' being more of a whatever. My father, being into Quantum Physics a bit, sort of accepts the possibility of something not being defined until someone observes it or looks at it in a certain way but he's got a strong limit. So I just keep it to myself.

never told anyone..... my father may think about it a little. he enjoys "contreversial" topics, he bought a book about aliens when he was 23.
my parents are solid in their religoun, they wont tollerate even a little doubt. Thats why i don't tell them i'm an atheist.
for those who are wondering atheism is the belief in no god.

What a shame that religious people label psi something from the devil. Heck, I believe in God, and yet I have no problem with psi. It's like saying electricity or wind is of the devil. How silly people are!
A relative of mine (not from my immediate family) made a snarky comment insinuating I was a witch. When I brought a colorful windchimes to my grandmother's hospital room, it happened to have a Star and moon designs on it. I guess some people in the Occult use those symbols alot. The star was just an average 3D star and not even a pentagram! It was the only bright color in her entire drab hospital room. My uncle didnt want it near my grandmother. I lose patience with people like that.

My parents threw away my Ouji Board the day after I bought it. I guess that means they were pretty angry about it.

I believe in a god, and I believe some forms of magick are "the devils work." (In terms of contacting demons, and talking to demons.)
But most forms, psi, contacting good spirits, stuff like that, are in no way evil. Psi, or chi as I like to call it (I believe they are the same thing) is an energy we were given. I believe it is completely natural, and in no way a sin or the devil's work. The people who have told you that are very ignorant.
Although, I guess we all are.

Please don't let this begin any religious arguments, I just wanted to hear what people around us thought of us. I know what I know, and I no longer care what those in my area think about psi, I just wanted to see how many others had risked telling people they know, and those peoples reactions.

Oh yeah I told one of my brothers and both of my cousins. They all try to make a psi ball they felt it and it was their first and last time doing it lol. They never try to do it again. They didn't pick on me such as calling me crazy, doing devils work .I guess when you try some thing new you see different view or point some thing along those lines, because my family is Christian and hard rock to.

Sorry if my post was misleading, I wasn't trying to make it a religous argument. I was just saying that I believe some forms of magick are bad - there purpose are for self-gain and to harm others. I'm not pointing fingers and saying what types I believe that is true for, I'm just saying I believe those exist.

I haven't told many people, but I'm lucky enough to say that my family and friends are all accepting of the psi. My dad is actually quite interested, while my mom is sort of indifferent. My friend Austin actually wants to learn, and my girlfriend Kalee thinks it's really cool. Only my friend Brian is a little opposed to it. He thinks it's "against his religion". I mean,I understand where he's coming from, and I try to accept it, but he is just so stubborn! He refuses to even listen to me!
Anyway, that's my story. And no, I have not been called a demon. Yet...

It's just sad to be called this kind of stuff like "demons" or anything.. What we do is okay, it's not against anything that you may believe in, and just think, we could be out there harming our bodies, but instead we are helping it by making it stronger.
