I'm currently in the research stage of an spirit guide article and I want to know what are some fears and worries you have about spirit guides. What are things you have learned about your guide? How do they help you? Did you know about them before you met them? Is there anything you can think of that you wish were told about before meeting them?

I never knew him...until randomly he appeared into my life. I knew about guides and stuff. I had a temporary guide just before I got mine. My first one was Anael, she was my temporary one that helped me get back on the right...path per se. Than Sephiriel entered in my life and I haven't had another guide since then. Sephiriel has been a pure blessing in my life, aiding me in some of the more complex situations in life, but also a great teacher sometimes by simply silence. He watches over me, protects me while I sleep, helping me reinforce the barriers that keep harmful energy out.
But his silence...and his steady presence in my life...I don't know. He works for the Council like me, which is probably why I ended up with him.

Sometimes they appear to you in a way that you're not ready for.
This is scary.
Sometimes they show you that things are not what they seem, about your life and the world, by allowing you to "find" or "learn" information on your own, with some help, and if not ready this can hurt.
Although, they only help you if you tell them you're ready, they're surprisingly like any other person, you ask them, they'll help. Yet, their intelligence is not that of a universal god or anything, so they'll slowly catch on if you're not ready, and they'll simply move away from your view/conscious awareness until you've matured a bit.
Just like people.
