I wish I could say the same for my friend... =( May he rest in peace.
I had a good friend named Patrick and well we were walking home one night when he was trying to cross the street, he was hit by a car going 40... ='( I saw him flip like 3 times in the air... Those moments were so intense. even now I tear in RL remembering it was only 2 years ago...

Yeah, I wish we would be able to do so, I know about this book, "An Experiment with Time" by J.with.Dunne(an engineer), where he developed a dream journal, he said that since he always read the newspaper, when he had dreams about cotidian stuff, the newspaper was always around, so he was able to know when it was gonna happen, maybe that's what we should do.
