end of the world?

Ok. A weird dream I had a couple years ago (I just flipped open my dream journal to see if I could find one worth posting here) I had this really awkward dream.

I am standing in a feild and a non-descript female is off to my left. Surrounding me are relatively untaimed wildflowers and grass and the sun is shining prodly across a small-cloud spotted blue sky. I glance over to the girl and she gives me a warm smile. Over her shoulder I focus on the bluish-gray shaded mountains (a shadow is cast on them from the angle of the sun). For some reason I am extremely euphoric and with a smile I turn back to the direction I had been facing to get another glimpse at the sky.

I notice that some of the small clouds are swirling in a hurcane-like swirl in the sky. I gasp, point at it, and say out loud, "What is that?" The clouds start to swirl faster and the affect cloud area starts to grow... Suddenly a beam of blue light, originating from the eye of this swirling, and strikes the ground and eminates a visible shockwave. As the shockwave nears me I think, "This is it. I am about to die." I get one last look at the, now horrified, girl to my left just as I am struck by the shockwave and everything goes totally black. For several seconds I think I no longer exist but suddenly a thought comes to me, "I am thinking... am I still alive?"

I woke up after that thought realizing that I was in a dream shook me out of it. I was out of breath as if I had exhaled and then held my breath and after a while of gathering myself I realized that I had only been asleep for 2 hours. I think the amount I slept was the most shocking part of the dream, typically even with a nightmare I stay asleep for several hours before waking myself from it.

Interesting. Not nearly as bad as most of my visions of the end of the world at least.

Well, that seems to be a more... non violent end of the world.. Instead of bloodshed and such.

Nope. I have no clue who she was. Maybe I shouldn't have called the post End of the World. I think the dream was more focussed on me dieing. It was kinda eerie how clear the dream was though, I remember a large amount of detail for it.
There was little to no sound coming from the beam and shockwave, so I wrote in my journal that I thought it was a significant life event that was going to change me so much that I would cease to exist as I know it... That particular dream was on my mind for several weeks after having it, but so many terrible things have happenned to me and made me change who I am that I am not so sure that was exactly what the dream meant...

Ive had a dreams of me die'ing but i would always come back to life in the dream realy koo i might add.lol....and one time i was walking and some of my old friends were walking behind me and then i looked back and bam they shot me the heck up and i just kept bleeding and i turned around and kept walking and i could feel the pain but then it went away and the bullet holes went away also....awsome stuff..

yooo I came back to life once in a dream, like a video game wher eyou respawn and I was a ghost that just flew around. One of the few times where I knew i was dreaming and could control it in my dream.

I had one trippy one were i was at a party high of that green if you know what i mean, lol.and i was going to kill somebody and he had a gun also and first we went up to eachother and started fist fighting and i knocked him on the ground and he stayed there going for his gun, so i fired first and shot him up, but he fired right after and i died also. then all of a sudden my soul or consciousness moved to the dead body and i lefted it up and it was now my body then i went outside and just kept walking....real random. and somehow i knew i was dreaming.
But Who am i was the question....

I've been have "the world is going to end soon" dreams ever since I was like six. Nothing really to them expect your sub-conscious (I think thats what it is ) trying to scare you. Don't know why exactly. Well, everyone is sharing there End of Z world dreams, so here is my most recent one.

I was standing in a field, no one in site, just me. And I look up at the sky and see this big!@% meteor thing. I'm thinking "What the hell is that?!" and it gets closer and closer and I feel someone touch my back. I spin around and there is this old, wicked looking lady(picture Mary Shaw from Dead Silence times 5), her eyes and light blue and cold looking and she just stares straight into my soul. And as she was staring at me she said, "You are all going to DIE!!!" Then she laughed maniacally as the meteor incinerated us. Freaked me out cause I woke up in the middle of the night and was sweating and really realllly hot. Plus her laugh echoed in my head till about sunrise, and her face kept showing up everytime I tried to fall back asleep. Knowing my luck, probably gonna have this dream again since I talked about it...

Sharing end of the world dreams...

December 4, 2006 the note said, I looked out the window, looked normal yet felt wrong. I walked outside and went to the tree that was nearby and looked upward. All of a sudden I heard a roar coming from Down the street. I turn a look.

What I see scares me half to death - a cyborg rhino, with an odd design of armor on it. And a bomb on its back. I think "Its the Sheirok." for some reason or another. It runs down the street and I turn and jump the fence and start running.

I hear a explosion, followed by another roar. A few moments later I turn my head and see a purple gas rising upward from where I had been standing. The source of the gas starts moving toward me, so I keep running.

Eventualy I made it back to an open field, and there are dozens of animals with bombs on them running toward me, as well as nine... things... with gas-sprayers. I then saw seven people come running from the houses toward me, and each and every one of them was tinted purple. They got about 1/3rd of the way to me and exploded into a cloud of purple gas.


Hows that for weird as heck? Had that dream back in 1996.

The problem is that with dreams, we do not know if it will come true. Some dreams are what is happening on the astral at the time, some past memories, others precog. Others are something that just allude to what is going on right now.

I cannot really say. I haven't had an 'end of the world' vision/dream, but....eh.

i have never had a end of the world dream but mary shaw times 5 now that would scare me has anyone had a dream where they dont remember it?i have had like 3 of those one dream i had but didnt like was the first dream i caugt my slef sleeptalking i was at my gradmas house(lots of my dreams occur there)and me,my mom,grandma,and brother were there when 3 shadow figured men came in a kiled everyone except me i was under a table and when they left i ran to the backyard and saw my mom,gradma,and brother alive i dont remeber where i said we had to go but when my grandma said why i woke up saying because we have to i was like 6 when i had this dream then a couple nights ago i had a dream 3 shadow figures came out of three purple portals can someone help my figue out these dreams?!

I've had one end of the world dream, and it's really weird, and i didn't like it. A meteor came down in a certain year, it's about 10 years from now i think, but it's really really weird, everyone dies, but i wake up before the blast hit me, it like hit in California, then in about 30 minutes the shockwave hit my neighborhood, i woke up to a jump. I don't know what it means, but it freaked me out. I hope it doesn't mean anything.
