Guess what guys? I've got awesome, will blow your mind news. This site and I will be mentioned in a book.
What happened is sometime during the summer I was emailed by this guy who asked me to advertised his book competition in exchange for getting my site advertised on his site. I thought this was a fair trade. I then summitted 7 of my best articles, in the hopes that one of them would make it in.
Now I get this email and next week I will find if any of my articles made it.
"Hi am writing to let you know that the winners in the book competition at The Book of THoTH Website are due to be announced.I'm writing to let you know, as you so kindly helped promote the competition last year, and helped get the word out to everyone about it. As a return favour, we've mentioned you in the article which can be found at
www.book-of-thoth.com/article1684.html and you'll also be getting a mention in the forthcoming book when it is published.
Would it be possible for you to announce this article on your website to let people know to check in to see if they've won? We originally were looking at choosing 20 entries, but because of the overwhelming response we have upped that now to 50, so even more people will see their work in print this year.
Again, thank you very much for all of your help with this competition, and for helping relatively unknown writers break through into the publishing world. We will be putting a new book out each year, and if you'd like to continue to support let us know, we will give you another mention, and link to you again from the supporters page.

So this means I'm getting into the book no matter what happens. This is really cool. I didn't know this would happen and I'm going to keep advertising. Heck, maybe some people will visit the site if they buy the book.
