Yes, you must join the directory! It's awesome! You might even have some psions near your area that you can practice with sometime! But remember, always be safe, have another friend come, or an adult. If you don't think it's safe, then don't go. If you get any weird feeling, politely say that you have to leave, call your mom/dad/guardian, then walk out. Also, don't go into a car with them. Unless your guardian/parent is with you.
It may be fun to do so, but safety always comes first.
