I read the story Lancet by Intrigue and was inspired to write my own(wish he would update it) but here we go. the names you dont understand are Japanese.
The tree above Sean’s head exploded in a flash of fire and he cursed to himself that he had been found. “How in the world did they find me in the middle of the biggest forest in the empire,” he thought to himself as he began a mad dash through the thorny underbrush that surrounded his camp. He moved away quickly listening for his pursuers trying to determine whether they where mizu(water), kasai(fire), Ishi(earth), or kuuki(air) forces. While doing these mental calculation he was simultaneously calling upon his Ishi powers. He used his power over the ground around him to find the location of his pursuers, and judging by the mud they created with every step they made he determined they were of the mizu division. using the mud all around them he encased them in dirt, rocks, and all the debris that had entered the ground recently. Knowing he hadn’t much time before his pursuers broke free of their bonds he sped off as fast as his 14 year old legs would take him.

About 20 miles away lived the quiet life of Nick and his father. Every day he would wake up grab his fishing pole and go out to his small boat and fish. After the customary 4 hours of fishing he gathered his catch and pulled up to his little house, not bothering to notice that the water was making unnatural waves around him. As soon as he walked into the house he knew something was wrong, his father’s face was frozen a cold fury. When asked what was the matter he replied with barely restrained rage,” The king seems to think we are robbing him and decided to remove us from our home.”” What!” cried the boy now in a fury himself. All around him the air sparkled as if there were little pieces of ice in the air, which of course there were. As his fury became more and more intense the crystallization of the water around spread to his dad, and unbeknownst to him before his eyes his father’s brain was slowly dieing.
In the morning when he woke up he felt more energized then he had his whole life. He walked over to his father in a cheerful mood and told him to wake up. His father remained ridged in his bed and it slowly dawned itself upon Nick that something was wrong. He shook him and there was still no response from his father. There, upon the bed his father lie dead. He knew the authorities would never believe it wasn’t him so he fled into the woods.

Here we enter the life of Phillip, who lived in the closest trading town to the Eldurn Forest
Phillip’s dad was almost never home, and he had no mother to speak of. Therefore he spent most of his time in the area closest to his home. Early on he discovered that the lively things always happened around a fire. Whether it’s a party or a drinking contest it’s always around the fire. After a while of watching these events he found out with great surprise if he focused on it the fire would go out. The people would mill about and shake their bewildered heads. Phillip found this immensely entertaining and did it often until someone found out. There was a crash at the door an answering thump from the soil under it.

Finally we come to the quiet life of Nigel. Nigel had no parents to speak and was quite alone in the treetops of the Eldurn forest. He had an affinity for the birds and a fierce love for the forest and would do anything to protect it, even kill. When the birds scattered around the center of the forest Nigel was there to determine what the problem was. What he saw startled him, two people chasing a boy with strange powers. When the people suddenly became incased with mud he was struck dumb. After a short period of no thought he finally decided to help the boy. So he went down the trees and landed promptly in front of the running boy.
