I always wind up being a little more closed off at that time. It's like that part of me gets a kick out of plugging up my psionic ears and going "laa dee da de da, I can't heeear you!" *tongue out*

I'm not a girl but I think sometimes It would be good to let some guys have pains like Pms, so that they get a total emotional breakdown once in awhile. It would help destroy their ego especially if they actually knew that's how women go through it but worse. Even if you block out everything else empath wise, you've still got the pms to deal with and if you don't already, try and block your, and others emotions and thoughts who are troubled with the same thing. Because once you get lots of emotions the random, powerful thoughts definitely follow. Extreme headaches for a week, and I've still not learned how to totally block it. >.>
For man telepaths, or empaths being around a girl near her period, it can also get not that fun very quickly.

I definitely go into overdrive when my hormones ramp up as well...close contact with ANYBODY at that point who is angry/upset/etc. has me wanting to claw somebody's eyes out. Then again, the opposite is also true, if I'm mostly around cheerful people at that point I'm bouncier and peppier than usual, despite the cramps. Guess those hormones just open the reception up more all around in my case.
