It's not that. I am a natural empath. I don't mean to make it sound so hard. Any ability to learn is 'hard.'

X3, I try not to link up people. No you aren't being a jerk. I've met many who are. If you were a jerk, I would have left you in the dust. You have a lot of questions and that's to be expected. I wish I could answer them all, though I know I can't. I am still learning.

That's ok, maybe I'm expecting too much from everybody, I think it's only because I'm really into this, but whatever, I'm logging off to meditate some more and try to flare a psi-ball in a glass of water, it's too bad the only person with a camera (my step-dad) would consider me crazy if I asked him to take a pic of it.

Can empathy help make your other powers stronger

Not in a direct sense, but if you practice any one skill, your understand of psi will increase and help you with other abilties.

Yesh. I find for me....empathy has brought me closer to me being intuitive. But like Karen said, it's probably a better understanding.

But I'll try to explain. I've learned what I trust to feel from others. It's taught me to trust something I know 'inwardly.' I guess my empathy brought to me experience.

This isn't ethically sound and I certainly don't advise you do this.

Using empathy to strengthen your skills is possible... But as mentioned above, not in a direct sense. You can use the emotional energy absorbed from others as a semi-battery, but directly doing so is considered empathic psi vampirism, and isn't especially well liked by most people. Using ambient emotions on the other hand, is perfectly fine. Psi vampirism in general has been regarded rather poorly in the past, so unless you're one of the few who need it to maintain their health, don't pull it on an innocent person.

Here's the difference:
If you're walking along the street and you pass by someone, instantly reach out with your mind and drain them, this is wrong.

If you're in a crowded movie theatre and it's an emotional moment, letting the release of that emotional energy flow into you from others is not ethically wrong, since its released regardless of you doing it or not. Plus, its less energy drained from each single individual.
