Would I Get Hurt?

Second, wouldn't being damaged in the astral or etheral planes cause damage to your soul becuase it is your soul your driving, not a car...

You can fight them if you want, but they wouldn't get hurt unless you attacked them psi-vamp style or something. You can't cause physical harm to them, but you might drain their energy to the point that they have to rest for a good while. And no, your astral body (which is not the same as your soul--the soul is never that vulnerable) can pretty much regenerate any amount of damage, given enough time. And since you can't cut the cord, you can't kill someone in the astral. Like I said, you're pretty much fine.

I'm sorry if this post is considered too old to be bumped, but its still on the first page, so I decided to put in my own two cents worth...

Whenever I have an Astral Projection, it usually is during my sleep and happens at random. One of the first times I remember encountering a demon, I was walking down a stone path in a not-so-dense forest, trees scattered in random places. Well, suddenly this demon that was about my height appeared out of nowhere. I'm not sure if it was invisible, or just teleported there, whatever... but it started attacking me, and being the trained person I am in the Astral I fought it and killed it.

Now, during the fight in the dream the demon gave me a bloody nose. When the dream finally ended and I woke up, there was blood soaked into my pillow.

So my answer to the question of "Can you feel pain/does it really happen etc." is yes, to an extent. My guess though is that it depends on how sensitive you are to such things. I reason that I actually got a bloody nose is because even in regular dreams I can feel pain from say, a fire. I can also taste food as it would taste in real life such as a cheeseburger.

Although I was able to kill such a creature, I strongly recommend the rest of you to NOT attempt the same thing unless you really want to. I can't make you do it, and I can't prevent you from doing it. But that's my disclaimer.

1. going out looking for trouble will always end with touble. demons come in all shapes, sizes, forms, abilites and strengths. I have fought demons more times that i can write my name on a peice of paper. Demons have ranks, much like the hierarchy of the angels.
Demons start off with parasites, leachers etc, then beasts. both of which are uncontrollable. Then you start getting to the intelegent demons. from simple elemental demons to full fledged arch demons. these kinds are loyal to god and will only teach humans leasons that will altermently destroy the human or for the human to relise what they are doing wrong and correct themselves.

2. Its posible to get physically wounded while out of your body, the change of that happening is remote. Most people it happens to are well connected to that body and have an amazing vibration, and again well (if not too well) connected to there other self.

I have had no physical wounds, but i have had terrible pain. Ive been attacked repeatedly by negs, and other humans. both of which left me in agony for a few days. the worst was when i had to face the old wolf master to take my title of new wolf master. I still have the wounds on my left arm, THAT and the fact i was being stalked by a high level arch demon who was doing there job i guess. testing me. These test happened at the same time and went on for no less than 3 days strait. Talk about exhausted mentally!
that was several years ago and my arm still hurts, ouch...

3. At the temple i have had the privilige of training everyone who walked into the doors of the wolf temple and many other temples at one stage or another. i have trained humans who where asleep (unaware that they where there) humans who where awake, spirits and people who where about to be born.
It is posible to kill someone who is in spirit, altho its a big sin. you can not kill someone who has left there body. At the first sight of fear they are put back into there body. either by themselves, there higher self, there guides or the angels.
But remember, that the path of a warrior isnt an easy one, nor is it a very rewarding path. The reward for me is a smile from others, thats all i accpet as any kind of reward. warriors are very proud to be, and will put themselves before anyone, and even more so while protecting innocents.

so yes, you can fight other projectors, and spirits also. but its polite to ask and respect there decistion.

4. getting "damaged" in the astral will affect your astral self. the wounds will carry on back to you and can be seen in the aura, as well as the etheric self. its best to heal yourself (if you can) and if you cant ask to be healed before attempting to project again.

just remember that the body heals faster than auraic feild. healing your etheric and aura is priority.
