Not necessarily... *starts ranting*

My personal theory is that dreaming creates its own little bubble in reality. (Buddhism, I believe? I've forgotten) defines a number of different planes, one of which is the mental, in addition to a number of others. Therefore, dreaming occurs on its own separate plane away from physical existence-- but unconscious APing occurs when that bubble is disrupted, causing the conscious mind to drift.

Ahh, I see. So, we can dream, but that's not APing. It happens when we leave our dream, and go off to other places. I see now. That's why we have lucid dreams, which is almost APing, but isn't.

gahh im posting this too much so ill keep it short, and congrats by the way

i had my own first ap this morning, after waking up for a short time i went back to sleep and remember having more control over my body, somehow i willed myself up and out and also opened my third eye aat the same time, to see my bedroom wall, and after trying to look around got pulled back into my body, i think it was half dream half obe,and the whole thing happened quite quick, but im still excited about it : )
