First of all this is to be done after the first 3 or 4 min. (at least) of meditation until you get better at this technique.It is a visualization, simple but highly effective.Here is how to do it:
1.You are at the top of a spiral staircase. Make it at least 15 steps.The staircase is not in a room it is in space. A dark space with no beggining or end.At the end of the stairs is a beautiful dark blue or indigo sea or pool whatever you make it. 2.Now that you have your surroundings aware you can start the excersise. You walk down 2 steps slowly, like some brides do when 'walking down the aisle'. After every 2 steps you affirm to yourself in your mind;'I am going deeper and deeper' 3.When you reach the end of the stair case you plunge into the body of water,this is an energy sea, you can breath under it so don't visualize you struggling to breath. That will only break your work.Going into the sea is a way of going deeper when needed, just keep swimming downward everytime you wish to continue to go into a deeper, relaxed state of mind.
The purpose of the sea is for the less concentration to visualize it.
