Ethics of Using Precognition...

For those of you who are precognitive...do any of you feel it wrong to use this ability to make money or gain some other advantage?

I find I cannot use the ability (it just won't come to me) if it for my direct knowledge in real time. I could not make a killing in Vegas. I could not swing the stock market....on the same day the event would happen.

But I have made some money on the stock market for long-haul investments. I get my "vibe" about a company...or I find myself fascinated with the company and begin doing research on it. Then comes-out the cash for investment...but I do not do it unless I've also done research. It's the drive towards a sudden company or industry...

I also don't tell people really negative future events. For one, I'm not right ALL the time. Especially if there is no help for it, I won't say anything. But I will warn of "an idea that occured to me" about something like a natural even or if I see there is something bad about this or that person/thing in the future.

Is there an "ethics" of precognition anywhere. (I looked around but didn't see anything...)

Offically..no. It's really each to their own.

I don't mind the stock market so much because that's a great personal risk you take and you aren't harming anyone in anyway. Now I do get mad at the psychic hotlines and readers. They are fake. They are telling fake information that could lead to harm and they are more or less stealing your money.

It really is up to the person to decide whether or not to tell someone what you see in the future. I prefer to keep it to myself, because there is a chance that it won't be what I saw, whether or not if it for ill or for good.

I only told one person what I saw. I guessed it a little wrong, but it ended in disastor. I do however, do tarot readings for my friends. It's helped me also with my precog. You can make money off of that, especially since if it's the right reader. I met a lady who does Tarot readings....she read something that was dead on right. I was nearly freaking out. She was also freaking out about I had to many Major Arcana in every layer.

you are very right Karen. you shouldnt tell others of negitive events. Astasophi you are also right it is very hard to always be right.

the Ethic is don't do it if it is in some way cheating at life or if it doesnt "feel" right to you.

i think everyone should create their own personal code of ethics when it comes to their abilities. having an ethics code sets a good example for others and it just might change certain people's views on the psionic community as a whole.

I try all the time to gain some money with my precogs, so one time I was at a casino, and I had a vision on the roulette, so I said, it's gonna be number 11, I just saw the number on my head, I didn't had chips then, so I told my friend, and he didn't believed me, and it fell on 11, so I exchanged my money for chips, and for one hour I didn't had any more precogs, so I guess it just doesn't work that way. :S it's a shame though.

I've done it once, but I haven't been able to do it since. I was little and my mom has always allowed me to pick a few scratch offs for her. I just got a feeling about one of them, and it won $100. I pick them up occasionally to see if I can do it again, but I haven't been able to do it.

Yes, there is a way but also you could end in a dead end. I tryed to find out could i use it in casino and answer is- no. If you wish something too much you will see what you want to see. It is too uncontrolled to gain something. And there should be ethics; i had precognition that my cousin will die and i didn't tell to my mom. It is obvious why- how would it look if i told my mom: ''our cousin will die tomorrow''? It is the matter of principles, and it is on your own to decide what to tell and what not to tell.
