I've heard that children are naturaly better at psionics and I recently met my spirit guide so I started thinking about it and does anyone think that a child that talks about an "imaginary" friend may just be seeing his/her spirgt guide? It's a simple debate, I'm just interested in other's opinions on this matter...

I've never been able to talk to my spirit guides.  I can talk to my demon guides though. ;D |

Imaginary friends are quite different from Spirit Guides..and then in a way, it depends on the perception of the receiver. My Spirit Guides have been with me all my life, and fit into a category all their own. Imaginary friends...hmmmm..when we are in our formative years when very young..we perceive things in a way very few adults can fathom, even though, as adults, we all did perceive things this way when young. Just like children see auras, until they reach school age..and begin learning as society dictates. There are not many that continue seeing auras...unless they are predisposed to do so. Now my daughter had "imaginary friends"...Her piggies used to push her out of her bed at night..(she would sleep with us), her giraffe would come in the house from out in the yard and poop on the Living Room floor..(my daughter was 5 why/o...and would come running in with this information...have her hands on her hips and tapping one foot)...Had a tendency to crack me up...lol. But...were they imaginary...or were they real? Hmmm....gives food for thots..heh.  |

i say it depends on the situation. cause certainly not all instances are kids tuned into there spiritual side. lol, some kids are just straight up crazy-jk!! then again some children i could certainly see as being in tune with this stuff. actually i remeber a show on the discovery channel about spirits and this kid was seeing a dead guy that previously lived at the house he was at. they proved it was real cause the kid was like 2 and didnt know any details, but was able to pick the man out of some family photos also he knew the guys name! crazy aint it!  [btw the previous peeps family photos weren't of his families so they never met before doing that... well so the show said... lol... could have been all one big lie] |

Maybe. I don't think so, because I remember that my imaginary friend was my age... But I've never met my spirit guide, as far as I can tell.

Well, maybe in some cases the child is seeing there Spirit Guide, in some they may have just made them up for their own benefit.....but I think its kind of hard to tell between the two....
