Energy = Matter times the speed of light squared.
That is a lot of energy. When I say a lot, I mean enormous amounts. If someone here can completely disintegrate something, I'd be surprised(unless it's small or the energy is going to waste).
Even though I'm specializing in energy manipulation, and getting very good at it(practicing almost only energy manipulation for 3~4 months), I still can't cause any noticable effect on an object by draining energy from it as hard as I can(except make it colder by a few degrees...).
If you were strong enough to disintegrate larger objects, like a soda can or something, you'd be the next DBZ character(assuming you could absorb/use all the energy). ;D
