Your friend SALT!!! Yeah...its a long story and i dont remember how i came across it...But if you are doing seriously large amounts of ball making or construct programming etc...Salt will get rid of extra energy left on your hands. rub it on and psi escapes off of your hands... everything is self explanitory I dont know why i never wrote about it in the first place but it works...Helps you alot

Salt has a history of being used for mystical reasons in the past, the belief being that it could negate bad luck or purify an area, as well as others I cannot remember right now.

So I guess that would almost make sense, and explain some old folklore XD

if you watch Supernatural. The Winchesters use salt to make spirits go away. Made a litlle neat invention with salted bullet gun. I think it's pretty cool. ^_^

Salt has the fame of preserving good and extinguishing evil. There is a famous book here that tells a religious story, where the priest goes preach to the fish cause the people won't listen anymore. Anyway, he speaks of the salt purifying the earth... And it was also used to (and still is) preserve the meat and fish.

Hmmm, so does that mean say your in a battle with another psion you hapen to see a salt dispencer... Would you be able to throw it at them and bam there shield is gone??

Or they do an attack at you you throw salt at it?

Not likely, you'd more likely need to physically scatter the salt upon the energy instead of in a container. =)

Hmm. The folklore of salt has alot of good things about it. Exept the whole part of how salt can raise your blood pressure causing fatal experiences, but besides that its pretty cool.

I want to look into why they had the idea of salt to drive of spirits and what not.

Yes, there is some thoughts about what salt can do, i've heard it can ward off evil, or things like that, but i'm guessing i might try it once? If anyone tries it, please tell everyone if it works or not.

Actually I don't really know if it can do that or not. Supernatural is just a show. Very interesting show, indeed. If any haven't watched it yet they should start picking up on it. There is a two-part episode to the season finale. And it is already on it's 2nd season. So watch it now so you don't get all confuse of the details. Really it's a great show.

Salt is actualy used in a great deal of magic, which ties in with psionics in many ways, thus it should have an effect. Magic is also manipulating a form of energy, and salt can weaken that energy, so it should be able to weaken "psi" as well.

I dont think it should be able to weaken psi. maybe to cleanse it, i dont know, to avoid its use for evil... Since it preserves the cells of the food and cleanses the earth from evil... I dont know...

I have always wondered what's the reason behind the garlic, the salt, etc.

Maybe evil out there is finding out a way to become immune to salt, and garlic, and then is going to use it so we can't use our psi to protect the world :-O. If i'm right, i'mma just gonna do something i would never do, which is about everything i don't do. But just keep that in mind, it may be true.

Or maybe it's just folklore and doesn't really have that effect, but rather the will of the person who uses the salt gets through...
