I was practicing my psi last night (hadnt in like 2 days) and im creating this big psi ball...i hear something moving so i just stop making it....Then i start watchin tv...my mom walks past and stops....she says "what is that floating around you?" i look up...its this green ball about a volleyball size and then it just disappeared...I dont get it
EDIT: When it disappeared...It just stringed out like when you defeat a monster on Final Fantasy X so it was awesome and i tried it again and i couldnt do it

My best guess is that both you AND your mom are able to see auras. Nice.
JediKaren -- I doubt it was a flare... flares most likely wouldn't be volleyball sized. More like golf ball, or tennis ball sized at the most.

I disagree. I very much doubt you and your mom could see the aura of a psiball unless you are both naturals at it which is rare, or either one of you, or both, trained in that area.
I personally think flaring is much more likely and it doesnt matter how big or how condensed, the limit to your psionic abilities is only what you set it to be.

PsiDan, you say Auravisions are rare. I do not think about it, it could be coincidence but I know many naturals in my "home" area including my self. It could be coincidence they all live in that area.

Auras are, in my opinion, a basic skill more inductees should learn. First of all, it increases general awareness, and offers a myriad of other uses. Every skill I know of today, has been learned on a basis of auras and energy flow. Most have also been self-taught just based off what I knew of auras.
Natural talent at seeing auras is best, but I believe any person could learn how with appropriate instruction, and its not unheard of for talents to be passed down through a family. I do believe my mother is a rather strong natual empath, though I doubt she realizes it. She is exceedingly good at understanding other people's feelings and emotions instinctively.

Auras are usually only for you to see. That is weird. Maybe just flared in a very strong way. Like you had a very strong burst of psi.

Don't forget she is a mother. She has a link to you, and probably learned from her experience in life how people behave. So she could just have good inductive skills.
