okay, I've been practicing doing psi balls and flaring for about four days now. By practicing, I mean about one and ahalf hours a day. Since yesterday, I've noticed that my hands are stinging. It feels like either; a) about 8 needles are being punctured into my hand,or b) it feels like all of my veins are stinging. My question: is this an effect of psi ball practice?

I find it an effect of accumulating psi in your hands. It happens to me when i draw psi from the enviroment around me into my hands for psiballs, first they get like under pressure, tehn they start getting no-effort (they become light and i almost stop feeling them) and then the needles come in. Like puncturing through my hands. They have told me it's natural and it's your body adjusting to a higher ammount of psi than you can hande at the time. So in time it may be harder for that to happen... I think..

It is normal, you will get used to it. Just if you feel it is getting too strong- STOP.

It's natural. The stronger and better you get, the less it happens, unless you overload, in which case, it gets worse the stronger you get. ;D Side effects of psi include, but are not limited to: Nausea, headaches, cramps, heart palpitations(heart skips beats), migranes, vomiting, mild to intense pain, temporary paralysis, physical and mental exhaustion, weakness, and in some severe cases, DEATH. Please consult a professional psion to see if Psi is right for you. Enough joking(Must bring some funny to the boards though)... I've had about half of those problems, perhaps due to my rigorous training(3-5 hours a day sometimes.. sometimes even more, if I'm feeling good). I think there are more than this, but I forget all the possible side effects of overloading... On yet another note, I've started to flare psi balls with a decent level of frequency and control. But they aren't very bright at all... Just bright enough to let you see a bit in pitch black for a yard or so(but it absolutely IS there, woo hoo!).

Yes, and if you get tired or get a headache, STOP. It can cause serious side effects. I've done that before, and it took me like a month to recover. It isn't fun. If the pain is too great, then take a break for a couple of hours, or a day, go eat something, watch some TV, research, do some homework. Just if you feel any excruciating pain, please stop and take a break.
