Yesterday, I was attempting a psi ball and I felt a small "static" electrical shock on my hand. Just earlier I was visualizing a ball of energy and then all of a sudden i saw a very faint, yet noticeable flash with a small snap sound to it like an arc of energy. Very weird considering I only started late yesterday. It almost made me jump I wasn't prepared for this reaction. My hairs on my hand also stood up for a second afterwards.

those shocks may be what i feel like. I just think of that minor pain as a needle going through my hand... a lot of needles.

I've had the shocks happen to me as well, but only on some of my stronger and more unstable psi balls...

is the electric shock a part of creating a psi ball?

No. It's just one of the many things that can happen while making a psi ball.
I've had it shock me several times. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't(It usually depends on how you're making it and what you're making it for).
