Psi-Ball trails?

Alright. So, I was in the shower and I decided to lay down (Because I am VERY sick.) and I decided to make a psi-ball. I was making it and I was picturing it being green. So it was more dense than I have ever made one im guessing because I took a break for a day. Well anyways I felt in my palm that there was a whole in it. Not like hurting but it just felt like it (too hard to explain, sorry.). I was imagining it being green, and programmed it to suck energy from the earth, move VERY fast, and all of it's leftover energy give to me but detect if I have enough already. So then I threw it and visualized it going out of a crack in the shower and going through the door. A day ago I read up on Aura vision, and I THINK I may have developed it... Well back to what I was saying... So I threw it, and as I programmed it to move very fast I didn't think I could see it (Plus I can't flare....). So I looked about a second after I threw it... And what did I see?-I saw a green line going right where I programmed it to leave the shower (It was a very faint green line). So this is where i'm asking if psi-balls could have a "trail". Post your thoughts ;D.

Interesting. My vortexes have a similar effect, but more of a wave of darkness where energy is still being pulled along.

Yea, But this is more of a "trail" and my psi-ball was supposed to be green so im thinking that the green trail is the trail of it...

When I make powerful psi-balls, even if I don't flare, they leave trails for me too if I don't shell them very strongly. After I throw around a bunch of strong psi balls, like half a dozen(make em go round and round, program them to try and eat the others, which is pretty cool, and stuff like that), my room is almost impossible to navigate through except by touch, because I can't see past the trails in the dark(I don't shell unless I'm going to keep it).

If I make them strong enough, when I'm done, I get sunspots(like when you look into a strong light or directly into the sun). When I flare them, it's kinda worse, cause I can't see anything after because I flare in the dark. But that's just screwing over my night vision, so meh.

I also found out that if you charge enough energy into your aura/shield, you get that afterimage effect they use in animes(or a slight glow, depending on what you're doing). Not very obvious(read: dim as all heck, because it's like sun spots, except shaped like you), but if someone's paying attention, it looks really freaking cool.

And if you charge enough into your aura you usually get a bunch of kids and/or animals staring at you if there are any nearby. I don't like being stared at... >.<

Thanks guys... Yea I can't flare pakars, and I don't think I will learn very soon either lol. But, anyways yea how do you shell? Never looked into that and never saw any posts about it... But you do that so it lasts longer?

You just basically put a shell of energy(preferably more dense) around your psi ball to hold the rest of the energy in. It's one of the basic skills needed to keep the constructs around longer. The longest one of my unshelled psi balls has lasted was about a day. I've kept one shelled one for a week in the corner of my room, and there are no signs it's going to dissipate soon.

There are other ways of keeping the energy together, but this is one of the simplest, short of forcing it to stay together with your mind.

Just make a psi ball, then put a solid border of energy around it. Like a shield. In your avatar, it'd be that darker part around the edge of the psi ball.

but what if we just made the entier psi ball dense instead of just one layer?

Then from what I understand it would become out of control... And you would have to make an even denser layer on the outside...Right pakars?

It depends on whether you can mentally force it to stay controlled or not. If you have the skill, you could make a strong psi ball that stays around for a while without a shell(my longest without a shell was like half a day. Made it in the morning, and when I came back at the end of the day it was still there.).

There are also other ways of holding it in, like making the center a "vortex" and having it suck the rest in towards it.

Sometimes, I lose strong psi balls if I don't shell them, even if I'm still making it(I lose concentration). Most I don't though, because I'm what's holding it together till I'm done.

Making the entire ball dense does work. It just depends on how you visualize making it.


Make sure to remember that there's more than one way to do all this. You can make a psi ball keep itself together without a shell if you want. It's just that shelling is one of the "easier" ways to keep the energy together for longer.
