I've read a few books about manipulating energy (psi) and most of them start off with the psi-ball. However, I've seen a few times that they do it differently, and I still haven't figured out why this would work. What they say to do is rub your hands for a few seconds, until it gets warm from the friction, then hold them about a foot or so apart, and that can make a very faint psi-ball. They say you can usually tell because of the pressure between your hands and the tingling (which I think is just from the rubbing). But, I've also read another book dealing with auras, that say to do the exact same thing, and instead of it making a psi-ball and feeling the ball between your hands, you are actually just feeling your hand's aura. So what do you all think?

I personally think that, for me, rubbing my hands for 30 seconds, then holding my hands 10- 13 cm apart works the best for me. The site that I read to rub the hands said that it 'increases the hand's chakra' or something like that... :S And I have absolutely no idea about the aura thing Sorry.

Well, I did this at the start, but it felt sort of like cheating to me. I didn't even rub them long, I just rubbed them for 2 seconds and then it allready helped, when I didn't do it it was harder to make a psi-ball. However, I don't think you really learn anything about energy manipulation by rubbing your hands. Because I think you just create static energy repelling each other with the rubbing. Just like a balloon and your hair, however they pull together, One with positive energy and the other with negative. Your hands probably both get either positive or negative. Not sure if this theory is right, just a possible explanation. ;D It is however a good method to get to know what it feels like. I don't do it anymore and am now trying to more conciously control psi, instead of using these tricks. Still, everyone should do what he or she thinks is best.

its a good set of training wheels... just be sure to work up to a two wheeler like the big kids... in all seriousness though, i think the heat from the friction can act as a good 'map' as to where the energy should go. just try not to make a habit of it. unless you want to make a super powerful ball really quickly.

So most of you think it creates a psi-ball? Could it be possible that because you touch your hands together it creates a circuit of psi between the hands, which kind of makes a psi-ball when you separate them?

that might not work if the sensation the psi gives you is tingling or warmth because you might feel the same sensation without the psi actually being there.

But you'll be able to sense the magnetic-likeness of a psiball, i.e. the energy.

Well I heard that alot too. I never do that. I would say just use your visualization or tactile method and make a psi ball. Books are books. Not all is true. Some people try to make money and get fame. So they'll do anything. Like this. I hate those people. Someone ought to puish them. I say do the psi-ball with the rubbing. If you need a psi-ball exercise then pm me asking me. I don't feel lik posting it right now. Sorry.

i expieramented, i tryed twice with the hand rubbing and twice without, i found it didnt effect me at all it did the same thing in the same amount of time, so i prefer not to waste my time with the hand rubbing, but for some people it has a different outcome, i suggest you try what i did and see which works best for YOU
