I just thought of a good idea, put web feed of a specific spot, say someone's lawn or basement and have everyone add energy to a psiball? We could try to flare it later and see how strong we could get it. Everyone wonder's what it would be like to pour a huge amount of energy into a psiball. Would it flare? Would it be solid? Would nothing happen at all? This could also be done with a picture of a place though live webcam would be better.

The amount of energy has nothing to do with if it will flare or not from what I have seen. I have flared several things, but I cannot flare at will. All the things I flared were quite low-energy at the time, yet my high-energy constructs do not flare half as often.

This has already been done by psipog, the flare failed I believe. We could try it here, though, I guess.

But wouldn't it be hard to keep the energy concentrated? I mean, if we're going all out here, and trying to make a huge one, it will take alot of energy to start it, and what about to keep it going? I guess it would be like a shield; always needing attention and energy. Someone would always have to be tending to it, because one false move would mean "poof". It sounds cool, but prices will come. We can do it though, because us, and especially, I, Cu, can do anything. :-)

I don't know abut you but I am not comfortable with putting my energy in with so many people that I don't know. You realize that everyone would have a direct line to you right? Any of these communal energy things are bad ideas. Just like that grid thing...

Sounds like you're being paranoid, ILuvEire.
It would require someone to direct the energy sent to one spot and to do most of the programming so that people don't mess it up. Also someone with a webcam feed would be good.
