Refraction

I'm not sure this question's been asked yet, I started looking but my internet's too slow so I assume since I couldn't find it it's not here

Anyways, I was practicing with a psi ball, and I was focusing, I could really feel the energy but then all of a sudden I thought I saw a ball there, like a tiny ball of refracted light. I'm not sure how to describe it... it wasn't like actual light or anything but, it was like a floating crystal ball, not as solid, but there was definitely something between my hands. It was there for about a second, I blinked and it was gone.

I made sure there was nothing in the background that could've been it. Could it just be that my eyes were just tricking me, or could it have been the ball?

Sounds like either you managed to overlay your sensing of the energy on top of your physical sight, or you managed to make it slightly visible.

Though being insane is always a possibility.
