I have two more questions before heading to bed
When I practice psi balls, it feels as if my hands are repelling and attracting, but in time with my breaths, for a while I thought it was my hands were too close to my stomach, but then I tried going into my normal position and not doing anything, and my hands didn't move a fifth of as much as they do when I'm trying to make a psi-ball. The longer I focus the more powerful the magnetic feeling gets, my question being: do I just have to keep adding to the psi ball to get it to flare, like does it just come naturally? Or is it more visualization of say a spark and then like an explosion (which is what I picture)?
and my last question is I've been googling, and i was wondering does anyone know the difference between ki and psi? they both seem closely related. I sure I've read it but I'm.... not that bright... so if anyone knows where I could find it or maybe paraphrase it in Lowery-speak, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Okay, first of all, how long have you been practicing making Psi-Balls? Just out of curiosity. And when it comes to flaring, go here: thepsiworld.proboards37.com/index.cgi?board=ener&action=display&thread=1153568238 click the links and read these articles, especially any from PsiPog.net. Now, as for the ki and Psi thing, from what I know, they are NOT even close to the same. Ki is the equivalent to chi, which is the body's life energy. All living things possess it, while NOT all living things posses psi. Plants for example, have chi, but no Psi. Also, these energies have very different properties and uses. I hope this helps. And if I am wrong in anything, please someone point out my mistake and correct me.

The different between ki and psi is a much debated topic. Some say the energies are completely different, coming from different sources, different mediums to produce different abilities and effects, and have completely different properties. Yet, there are those who say it is all one and the same energy, with a different outlook, point of view if you will, on the same energy. Either way, I ask that we refrain from ki because weather it's a different energy or not, it tends to breed false ideas about psi and I don't want to have to correct those ideas again.

Good call, there, JediKaren. I was just stating my own theories, but that sums it up well as well. ;D

No problem. It is my pleasure to help. Hey, be sure to tell me how things go for you and flaring. I have no experience with it whatsoever, and I'd like to see how your first one goes.
Have fun!
