Hey everyone, well I've been having some trouble gathering my energy from a source other than myself, I feel like I am focusing too hard on the source of the energy and visualizing myself; so in return not getting very much. When I typically try to gather my energy from another source, say the sun, I don't picture a full image of myself as if I were looking into a mirror or at a photo of what I look like. I picture an outline of a body and think of it as myself. Any suggestions on gathering energy?

Try to feel the energy around you, drawing into you, flowing through your body. Works for me

try closing your eyes and feel the whole room around you. if you want try to imagine the sun in the middle of the room. then draw everything into the area that you want the energy to go. the important thing is not to over visualize everything and just feel the energy collecting around you.

I'm not sure exactly how this works, but I just visualize a silvery mist (or sometimes a snowstorm, don't ask why) completely surrounding my body, and then I imagine myself pulling in the mist. I'm pretty sure this isn't gathering it from myself, since I never feel drained or anything after doing it, but I don't know what I'm gathering it from either...
