Ok, as I mentioned in my introduction post, I have always had this healing ability (though haven't used it in awhile now)
... but when I try the techniques for directing psi into a sphere, it fails every time, well, I think I might have gotten it right once, but that might just have been a hallucination due to the fact that I am a bit tired and it is in fact 4:24 at night where I live.
I have no problems relaxing / unwinding with eyes shut or open, nor have I got any difficulty focusing on an energy source within myself (usually one of the chakras) and feeling the deep warm glowing feeling inside, spreading out to my hands which then go tingly, like right before an arm or a foot goes numb - but if I hold this for just a second, I get a sharp pain in my right arm, around the bicep area, and a burning sensation in the entire arm ... and nothing more really happens.
Except that once, when I thought I could see a kind of yellowish disc or ball, that kind of reminds me of the afterimage you get from staring at some light source .. except it wasn't like that either. It's a bit hard to describe.
Anyway, I have looked at several articles explaining what to do, but I do not feel any of these help. (I do need patience, but it would be nice if I could get some response as to why this happens, if anyone got any ideas then please let me know.)
I will of course continue practicing on a regular basis, to develop control over psi.
