I got to wondering today, in church of all places, about psi and what it might feel like being on the receiver end. When you get up in front of a crowd to speak, or maybe when your just around a lot of people and you feel like everyone is looking at you, could this be because of all of the energy in the room at once? I mean i know everyone isn't try to project anything at someone who is speaking, but if there's enough energy, you would think they would feel something?

You would feel people's emotions if you were an empath and you might pick up on the natural amount of psi everyone has in them.

Hard to say. I'm going to probably say no (unless your an empath). I think it's the psychological effect all those people staring at you at the same time, that may stimulate embarassment, fear, or panic, knowing that all those people are watching you. You also are nervous, knowing that if you mess up or something everybody is going to hear, or see it. I notice this because there are those people that don't have a problem talking to people in crowds, because they don't get nervous or scared.

I took my shield down last night. Today I went to a restaurant and felt really dizzy and sick when it got really packed. So I am guessing that yes it is possible that all the energy in the room may cause something like that.

You would only feel it if you were sensitive to psi.

I don't naturally feel the psi of other people, but I was at my girlfriend's play last night (in the audience thankfully, not on stage), and I tried to sort of reach out and feel everybody's energy. The effect of all those energy bodies gathered together in one place creates a sort of effect where the psi sort of rubs off and charges the entire building. I was only trying to sense for a few moments and the effect was still overwhelming. So I think you may have a point, dangrousdave20. Maybe we all have some kind of subconscious programming that, when we're in a position in front of lots of people (like on stage), automatically reaches out and shows us the combined energy of all the people in an effort to make us less nervous. Of course, it has exactly the opposite effect, but the human mind has evolved in very strange ways, so who knows?
