Psions won't come forward because ultimately, they're not strong enough to do anything.
If they were, there'd be stories of crimes that could only happen if a psion had committed them, something that causes people to question what they see as reality.
But nothing's happened.
Because they can't really do much.
"Oh, I moved a pencil with my mind!!! omg let's save the world!!"

From my radical beliefs, there shouldn't even BE a gov't to moderate things.
But thats my opinion, and I'm not trying to start a flame war.
Anyway, yeah, there would definitely be gov't moderation of abilities. Probably even genetic engineering, if it be deemed possible to do so.

Little people to no people at all should outside of the psionic community know about psionics.I agree most likely people will think of us as,evil,cultists,demons,etc which is mostly promoted by religion,and aside from that the governmant would try to control us and use us as weapons for war.Along with that,yeah they could make it against the law to use psionics and kill those(outside the governmant)who are caught using it.

All of that may be true, but the knowledge should still be out there for those who seek guidance and cannot find any. If psi was never known to anyone outside, then those that would want help may not even find the psionic community. |
