To young, or to old?

I had learned of psi since last summer. I haven't practiced or did anything yet with psi. I was wondering, is it O.K. to study and use psi when your young.

Age doesn't truely matter except in maturity. You need to be mature enough to train and not do anything too stupid.

I'd rather not just slap the lable mature on it and call it good.
few irresponsible people truly consider themselves irresponcible, and the same goes to the close cousin maturity.

can you use your powers to benifit yourself without harming others in the process?
can you use your powers to help others, despite yourself?
Can you excercise moderation in the useage of your powers?
If so then I see no reason why not.

There are naturals in psi - they don't choose their age when they start in.

I know I had tried to do things when I was younger, with no results.

It was about a year ago when I first started developing in the psychic sense.

So if something doesn't work now, just wait, because your time will come.

And as for it being right or not, it doesn't really matter. If you can do something, then take responsibility for it. For your actions. Hopefully you won't try to stop a person's heart, or flood a school, or SOMETHING. Ultimately, it's up to you.

But if you have to ask whether or not it's right, I think you should wait a bit before doing anything. At all. Just grow a little more, get a bit of life experience.

You can study it at any age, and still be "right.' It just depends on your personal maturity and decision making that would play a role in determining whether or not you're ready to start USING what you've learned. Hell, most people aren't ready for this (but most don't accept it, or ignore it anyway, feeling content in their not-fully-lived lives.

Karen, why'd you delete the other posts? I know they went off topic, but sometimes that happens on a message board. I personally think if you would have left them, people could learn. Learn what you like and dislike. Learn about a second topic. Learn about our personal stances on such issues. They could be helpful to those who need it.

I personally have been fascinated by this for as long as I remember, and I know I've been trying to do things just for the fun of it, and of course to finds out if i had any gifts since i was about eight years old. I agree to the fact that age doesn't matter. As long as you don't start hurting people or animals, or using your abilities only for your own benefit.
